I got married this year and I am thinking about possibly selling my dress. I doubt that if I have a daugher, she will wear it. It is a pretty dress and it is just seating pretty dry-cleaned in the preserve box in my closet. I am wondering if eventually some day I will want to see it and I won’t have it with me any more. I have the pictures, but sometimes I wonder. I had dress regret for a while because I felt in-love with the Adorae Dress but thought the dress I bought is beautiful and it was quite a hit at the wedding. I felt beautiful in it. Anyway, I was wondering how many bees were planning on selling and if not, why not.

@puplelishious: ooof. Selling vs keeping… I still havent even gotten mine cleaned. 6+ months and its still hanging on the closet door in its bag. I will probably end up keeping the dress though.

I’m keeping mine, as requested by my husband. Not really sure what to do with it though. I washed it and its now hanging in a bag in my office.

I’m keeping mine. I’m thinking about possibly making a christening gown out of it when we have a baby, but even if I don’t I’ll still keep it. I don’t expect my potential future daughter to wear it, but she could use a piece of it to wrap her flowers, make a hankerchief out of, or whatever.
I am pretty sentimental and if my mom was still married to my father I would have loved to have used a piece of her dress in my wedding.
That being said, I think selling your dress is still a great option that allows other girls to afford a gown they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to buy.
