No one has gotten married at the Canary Hotel on this board? :(
We looked at the Canary for our wedding night, and stayed to listen to the wedding package as well just for kicks. THey really do take care of you there, that's for sure! Lots of people don't like the idea of the all-inclusive venue, but we totally dug it. We needed a venue a bit bigger so we went with Glen Annie Golf club, which was also all-inclusive. (it went fabulously, too).
Good luck!
@ookbob: thanks for the feedback. A few weeks after I posted this, we ended up going with Canary Hotel and put down our deposit. Like you pointed out, we wanted be at an all-inclusive venue (ceremony, reception, lodging) since it works well with our small mini-destination wedding especially with the majority of our guests beinf from OOT. Its such a beautiful and "cozy" hotel, we knew right away that we had to consider it.
Glen Annie is a beautiful venue, glad that you found a place to accomodate your guest count without losing the all-inclusive aspect. Congratulations on your recent marriage, thats wonderful that your big day turned out to be nothing short of fabulous!:)
@UrbanGem: How's your planning with Canary going? I would love to get your feedback on how everything's gone so far. My FI and I are flying out to CA (we live in Miami) to look at Canary as a venue option in less than 2 weeks! I've also had trouble finding many reviews online, so I'd love to hear about your experience with them! Good luck with all your remaining planning!

Hi Bees!
Was wondering if anyone had their wedding at the Canary Hotel in downtown Santa Barbara? I visited the venue last week and really loved the look and atmosphere which will fit very well with the small (50 guests), intimate, romantic santa barbara wedding that we are going for. I saw less then a handful of reviews on various sites, and couldnt find much on the boards here too, so didnt have much to go off of. If you had your wedding there, I would love to hear your feedback on your experience with the venue. So far, thats our number one choice of the places we saw.
Thanks!!
