I’m hoping that my photographer will blog my wedding, but I don’t think she posts all her gigs, so we’ll see.
Did your photographer blog your wedding or E shoot? Would you want him/her to? Feel free to post links to your photogs blog post about you if you have them 😀

Crap! I meant to put this in photography….

@cbgg: I went ahead and moved it for you 😉
We were blogged, and I suppose it was rude but I did ask if she was going to do a blog post. She said she definitely was since it was a beach elopement. My main reasoning was I wanted to be able to sharspa few pics with everyone since we had no guests.

We were blogged! I’m very happy with the pictures they selected because it summarized our day perfectly! Here is the link to our blog!

No and doubt she will…midway through our engagement she announced on facebook that she was becoming a dog photographer :/ Yeah it’s her passion and whatnot. So by the time our wedding came around she would put a few teasers up (without our permission) and put a tagline like even though I prefer taking pictures of dogs it’s still nice to get out and shoot a wedding…or something equally annoying. We’d prefer to not have references to her dog business on our wedding pictures.
Plus, we’re sending out electronic frames with pics from the wedding for our friends and family (it was a pretty small wedding). If she keeps posting all the damn pics our friends and fam will already have seen all the good ones. Uggh.

@icetea: Wow, that’s quite a switch! I didn’t even know that Dog Photorapher was a thing.

My photog won’t have those rights.

@cbgg: LOL yeah we joke that she’s “cornered the market” on that one 😉 In all seriousness though, we wish her well. But we wish she would be more thoughtful about how that might make us feel.

Mine likely won’t, they have a blog but it isn’t a priority for them and they rarely update. They are heavily booked and I think the time just isn’t there.
I don’t mind, that is not a priority for me, finding a high level professional was.

My photographer didn’t blog our wedding because he left it to me – he’s a fellow pro though and knew that I’d want to feature the wedding on my own website. He put some great teasers up though with a lovely commentary for everyone to see immediately which I was delighted about.

@cbgg: Nope, and frankly I was kinda bummed beacuse I thought our wedding was awesome, and all the little touches were great. Oh well, probably everyone thinks that!
