I do! I may reset it someday, but I still love it!

Well I’ve been married since December and only got my ring last August, so I haven’t even had my set a year yet.   However, knowing what I know now, there are definitely some things I would change.

I received a princess solitaire and paired it with a diamond eternity band.  For a long time that was my dream set.  But I didn’t realize that it’s really not very practical.

First the eternity band – not comfortable at all.   It’s prong set and while I love the look, it rubs against the sides of my fingers still and I just cannot get used to it.

Second, the solitaire – my solitaire sits up pretty high in order for a band to sit flush, which was a requirement of mine since I dislike gaps between e-rings and w-bands.  I’ve already chipped the diamond once and had to have it replaced.  It does bang on a lot of things so I need to be careful.  I don’t want it set lower as then it wouldn’t sit next to my band.

Third, while I like my set, I wish I had asked for a thin setting with side stones.  Both my rings together are 4mm and it’s just too wide for my comfort.  I wish I had a dantier set.

I guess you can say the honeymoon is over with my set.

missanj:  I do love my rings!  We got engaged in August 2012 and married October 2013.  I am quite fickle and picky.  I change my mind all the time!  I still catch myself looking at my ring and telling my husband how much I adore them.  I’m suprised I still love them so much!  I wouldn’t change a thing about them. 🙂

I still love mine and never wish I had anything else. I still admire it regularly and I’ve been married for a year and a half, had the ring for 2.5

2.5 years after I was married, some things that bugged me about my set, *really* started to bug me… so that is when my upgrade journey began.  Another 2.5 years and 4 or 5 rings later, my DH and I have designed my last upgrade!  Until 15 or 20 years anyway, lol.

I think the excitment of getting engaged made us rush the ring the first time.  And now we have more money to spend on it.  So this time, we really maximized our budget and shopped smarter, and we spent a lot of time on the design nd the details.  I just know it is going to make me happy for a very long time now.  And my DH has learned a lot over my ring journey, about what he likes and doesn’t, as well.

Yes!  I’ve had mine for 4 years and I still stare at it constantly.  My husband and I picked out our rings together, so I had a say in the design/look.

I love my rings!  I do find myself comparing my e-ring to my newly engaged friends.  While there’s are newer and therefore cleaner and no scratched yet – I still love my e-ring. It is perfect for me.  I got engaged in 2012, and married last year.

A year after our wedding I upgraded from a plain white gold wedding band to one with a little bling. I am very happy with my set. At bedtime and when we’re traveling I still wear my plain wedding band.

I’ve been married for 1.5 years, had my ering for an additional year. I still love both rings! I didn’t have a say in my ering as my DH picked it out and surpised me. It’s not something that I would likely have chosen initially, thinking about my tastes 2.5 years ago, but I still think it’s perfect for me, and I love that he chose it for me.

For my wedding band, I chose a thin bezel set 3/4 eternity, which is sturdy yet delicate at the same time, so it is good for my lifestyle.

i asked my FMIL that question a month or so ago. she said she loves it as much as she did when she got it. my mom said the same thing.

if it makes any difference- FMIL chose hers, my mom did not.
