It seems like we were in a similar situation. Our photog gave us an original timeline of 1 week for a preview and 3 for the cd of all the images. We got the preview after 3 weeks and she stopped responding to attempts to get a timeline for the cd after that until our cd arrived after more than two months. It turns out she had somethings that came up, and our pictures turned out beautifully.

Our photographer had sent us a sneak peek in less than a week, had a slideshow ready on their website in under two weeks.  They guarantee the full disk within 8 weeks, so we’ll see.

I still don’t have any pro photos and I’m almost at 7 weeks. It’s really annoying because I don’t want to chase my photog down awkwardly, he should be giving me updates.

It is wedding season and I know my photog is very busy, but he could at least email me and say the timeline was pushed back or something. I’m going to follow up with him early next week if I don’t hear anything, but I think it’s kind of messed up that I have to do that. It makes me look like an annoying bride when really he’s the one being rude and unprofessional.

Good luck with your situation, keep me posted!

We had all of ours online and ready to see within a week of the wedding. We don’t get the CD released to us until our one year anniversary though… bummer.

We were married June 5 and we just picked up our prints and CD on Friday.  I would be nervous about your photog not answering too!  I hope you hear from her soon!

I find that every photographer is different. some put up teasers within a week, others like to give you everything all at once so it takes longer.  if you don’t hear from your photographer after a week of sending out the email, i’d try calling her.  but i do agree that it is busy wedding season and i’m sure their really busy.

personally for us, we got our photos back after a month and a few days after our wedding.  our photographer didn’t put up any teasers until she finished all the photos and had met with us to ask us if she could.  so everyone works differently.

We were lucky enough to have a friendor photographer.  We got the disks of our photos in about 3-4 weeks.  Good luck!

We got our cd’s last night, and it has been 5.5 weeks since our wedding.  2000 photos 🙂  What I have seen so far is beautiful!!

I would def. try to get a hold of her at all costs.  My photographer was in constant contact, letting me know how things were going, putting a sneak peak on her website about 2-3 weeks after.. seems odd that she is ignoring you.

Ours took 9 weeks and I was really ticked off, haha. My photog was just so slooowwwwww and she almost never blogs, which is also annoying (but, she blogs a tons during off season). So we didn’t see a single pro photos until 9 weeks after. I would have appreciated a couple of teasers  to hold us over. I honestly think that should become a standard practice. When I work weddings, 90 percent of the photographers e-mail the bride and groom 1-5 teaser pics with their current turnaround time. It’s really nice.

Our photog never gave us a timeline, which was also super annoying. Good thing the photos were amazing 🙂
