Our videographer showed up just before the ceremony to get footage of guests arriving, so we didn’t get “getting ready” footage. He stayed for the ceremony and all the major reception events (intros, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, anniversary dance, bouquet toss, and some dance floor coverage). So I think it was about 5 hours of coverage altogether, which was perfect.

I would have regretted not having the footage from the reception so I could relive the celebrating and see all of my family and friends having a good time with us, plus we look so happy in that footage. I don’t regret skipping “getting ready” coverage because things were so hectic already; having a videographer in my face earlier would only have stressed me out more…I loved relaxing at the salon with a mimosa in my hand completely off camera.

I think ours were with us for about 10-11 hours. They arrived around midday (our ceremony was at 3pm) and left just after 10 (British weddings run longer than US ones).

They got plenty of footage. I’m not sure whether I regret saying they shouldn’t film me getting ready but I knew my bridesmaids and mum were already iffy about having the photographer around!

Haven’t had the wedding yet but my brother does photography/videography. They always dedicate themselves to the whole day, usually showing up just as makeup is finishing (bc who wants to be seen without it!) and they stay until just about the very end. I helped out last summer and it was usually a 10 hr day or so. definitely had a lot of footage with that 🙂

We had ours for about 12 hours. They shot us getting ready, ceremony and reception until the end. I am glad they were there that long to get footage of the whole day.

We had ours from about 11:30 a.m. to about 9:30 p.m.  I had a few issues with my video, but he made the changes, and I will watch it today to see if it came out the way I wanted it to.

We had a team (4 videographers) and they were with us from 9am-1am (basically all day)
