So I never thought of this going into the wedding day, only realized just now. It’s weird, having a person follow you around all day, taking your photos! Seeing it after is like… wait what, I look like that?
Had any surprises looking back on your wedding day? Come to see yourself more objectively when faced with a full day of snapshots?
A couple for instances –
1) My head is SQUARE.
2) I’m slimmer than I thought I was! (yay!)
3) My whole life I’ve been teased for how much I laugh. Now I completely get it. It’s a big laugh! I toss my head back.
Other wedding photo revelations –
– I look like my grandpa.
– My whole family is impossibly gorgeous (when did that happen??)
– My DH is so much sweeter around me than he is with other people!
– I totally attacked my DH with my giant train when I spun around during our first look.
How about you?

Aww these pictures are beautiful! Don’t have anything yet to say but just wanted to say that you are beautiful, square face and head laugh and all! 😀

@GreenDream: I totally agree with @couawilou:, your photos are gorgeous! I love your laugh 🙂
Our photos were fun and they turned out great, but the thing I realized – I make ridiculous faces. LOL. This is just a sample of the gems we got, haha.
Watch where you’re sticking that bow!
Gaaaah, I’m MARRIED! So excited!
Normal ninja face, for reference:

@GreenDream: Ahh, your laugh looks fake, I love it!!
@recapninja: Ahaha omg that first face you made – lol!
I learned (from our e-pics) that I smile with my mouth closed for a reason. I laughed a lot during our photos and gave a lot of “real” (toothy) smiles. I don’t like my toothy smile and for that reason didn’t like a bunch of our pics that otherwise would have been adorable! So, at the wedding, NO TEETH. That’s my plan, haha.

Such great pictures/tips! Let’s see more!

- Wedding: March 2012 - Pelican Grand Beach Resort
I realized it was definitely worth all that money we spent to hire a good photographer!
I also learned that my husband and apparently none of his closest friends know you have to cut the thread holding vents closed when you buy a new suit.

@mrsSonthebeach: Haha, that’s so cute about the suits!

@recapninja: Those photos are amazing, hahaha! Such a beautiful girl and such an expressive face 🙂
@mrsSonthebeach: That’s adorable. Bet their pockets were stitched shut too!
@Juliepants: Mine is so gummy! Watch out for family formals on the day though. I started smiling with my mouth shut and I could swear I was smiling. My mouth just would not do it anymore. There are some that are so, so serious.
@couawilou: Our photographer did a great job! I’m certain DH is even more handsome irl than he is in our photos though, so maybe I am too… lol.
@likelimeade: I agree, I want more 😀 come on married bees!

@GreenDream: YAY another laugher! Half of my wedding photos are of me laughing.
Also, I make weird faces.
When I’m *really* happy (like at my wedding!) I smile so big it looks like my face might burst…
Also–we make a lot of funny faces!

@MM423: Aww I still love the pic of you and your husband dancing! (ok that sounded creepy, but I just remember you posting it in your recap and it made me smile!)
@misspeanut: Haha, it’s not creepy, I remember yours too because you were a December 2011 bride and I *love* your dress!

One thing I realized is that I should have told the photographer, NO BLACK AND WHITE pictures. You can easily change a digital photo from color into black and white, but it is very hard to do the reverse. He took my entire father/daughter dance photos in black and white and I am so frustrated because I would very much have prefered them in color (to at least have the option).

@mrsSonthebeach: love it- adding to FI’s day of checklist.
