Married Bees – now that your wedding is over Which photos are your favorites – most important to your? Which could you do without?
I am working on my photo list. My photographer is great and I love her work. I am sure she will do an amazing job. Just want to allow enough time for the important photos.

My favorite photos are those of my husband and I. They are also the most important (in my mind) and the ones that will be framed in our home. Also really important to me are pictures with family and friends. We got a good amount of pictures with family but not many with friends and that I was kind of bummed about. Detail shots are great to remember things by but dont let the need for detail shots overpower the other shots.

My fave photos are those of DH and I as well–especially the not so “posed” ones–like ones where we’re looking at each other instead of at the camera. I also love the ones with our bridal party where we’re laughing, and I love the pics we got with our nieces and nephew (kids are the cutest all dressed up in formal wear!). I agree with @PitBullLover that I wish we had more pics with friends at the reception–there are plenty of pics of our guests but not as many of us WITH our guests. But c’est la vie!

Definitely the candid shots! The ones where there’s a special moment going on between the two of you and the camera just happens to catch it. This is one of my favorites like that:

one of my favorite photos is of DH and i in our empty ballroom, before guests came in. it’s such a beautiful way to capture all the flowers, reception details.

My favorite photos were actually taken by my SIL when we were taking our formals. The first one is DH’s favorite–he’s very proud of himself. The second was just a moment where we were trying to be serious and he kept cracking jokes (actually, that was the whole day). The third because he’s blatantly checking out my ring. The fourth is me and my niece. Those are the ones I cherish most (and have hanging up).

My favorite pictures are the pictures of DH and me together, looking at each other, kissing, laughing together, walking hand in hand. We eloped, so there are a lot of pictures of just the two of us.
One thing I do wish we had was more pictures of is DH’s face and expression during the actual ceremony. Our photographer did a fantastic job catching everything, but for most of the ceremony pictures she was standing a bit behind my husband. The meant there are lots of pictures of my expressions and fewer of his. I’m not complaining really, because she did capture a lot of his expressions throughout the day.
