(Closed) Married during lent what to do with flower girl

@yamina81: I would have her just carry the same as your bridesmaid. Its such a short part of the ceremony anyway!

I also got married during Lent..we were allowed to have normal flowers but just couldnt take away any of the extra Lent decor…purple cloth, branches, etc. Aside from that, Lent or not, we weren’t allowed to toss petals in our church. I guess the rules vary from place to place. Regardless…I think a pomander / ball would look cute and be ok. Definitely check with your church before you buy anything! {Ours had a designated “environment” person responsible for the Lent / Easter flowers and other things.}

I went to a wedding were instead of flowergirls, the 2 little girls walked down the aisle ringing bells.  It was SUPER CUTE and I would love to do it at my wedding.
