Gah, mine already does that. :-/ How much worse will it get when we get married? ;)
Hahaha! I don't have any funny stories like that about married life sinking in. But then again, we already lived together in a house we own before.
LOL!!!!
I just read this to FI and he chuckled and said "Yep". We do that NOW, so I wonder what our moments will be like!
Yeah!! My hubby takes the laptop into the bathroom too! Whew, I'm so glad it's not just me who has to deal with this.
I don't think we have any new moments now that we're married. We've lived together so long there's no more big suprises anymore, thank goodness!
lol at first I couldn't think of anything, but then I remembered something and it's making me giggle just thinking about it
So, maybe 2 weeks or so after we get back from our honeymoon and stuff I was out of a job and hubby was about to head out the door to work. I was still in bed, he came and gave me a hug and kiss as always before he leaves and I was about to snuggle back down to sleep when I happened to notice that his clothes did't match right before he walked out of the bedroom. I mentioned to him that they don't match and he kind of looks at his clothes for a second and then says "It's ok, I'm married so I don't have to match anymore" and he proceeded to walk right out the door lol. Oh my silly man :)
hehe, never heard him fart while we were just dating. After a year and a half of living together he goes so far as to lift up one leg, let it rip and giggle after. He always announces when he has to "make duke" and takes the laptop into the bathroom too. If we are about to head out or in the middle of a movie I always ask him how long it's going to be for duke, as I may need to find something else to do for a while!
my fi bought a my touch phone specifically for the purpose of internet on the toilet. i guess i should be greatful that our computer doesn't go in there.
That is why my husband has his own laptop! He has been taking it into the bathroom since we have been living together. Don't really think anything else has changed since we got married since we were living together before we got married for a few years.
We read the bible and journal daily so last night we decided to do that together in bed.
He had to take a bathroom break so he took his bible, pen and journal into the bathroom. I knew he would have to ...he ate tons for dinner.
reading this thread...i'm so happy that i don't have wireless!!!! LOL
i just read this thread outloud to my FI. He used to take the laptop with him but it grossed me out - so now he just takes his blackberry! sometimes he'll fb me in there. i guess it's just a guy thing!
I recently had to call the cable company because we were having problems with our cable service. The account is in his name and I was giving all the account information, but she asked for the last 4 digits of his SS# and I was like "I'm sorry, I don't know that...it's in my husband's name." She said, "well, if it's your husband, no problem. How can I help you, Mrs. X". It just sounded weird for me for some reason. :)
Yikes! as far as I know my hubby doesn't take mine in the bathroom with him (now I really have the urg to wipe it down with lysol wipes when I get home). As far as differences for us, there's nothing really different since we lived together before.

When did it first hit you that you were "married?"
Example:
Husband comes home to the new house and starts to walk into the bathroom. He turns around and asks, "Hey, do we get internet in here? I want to check my e-mail while I poop."
Voila. Married.
