It seems to me that the large majority of Bees wear a matching wedding “set”, ie engagement and wedding ring together on the left hand ring finger. However, it’s my impression that it used to be a fairly common option for women in my mother’s generation to move the engagement ring to the right hand and wear the wedding ring on the left if they wanted to wear them separately. Wedding rings for women were more commonly wider and solid metal years ago and not everyone did matching rings.
I have both a wedding band that I sometimes wear with just the ering on the right and a diamond wedding band that I wear together on the same hand, and just wondered if anyone else ever splits up their rings for either esthetics or comfort?

Both of my rings are fairly thin/small, so I wear them on the same hand (left).

I wear mine together on my left hand as shown below. Before my engagement ring I only ever wore a ring on my middle finger, right hand. It took me a bit to adjust to having a ring on my left hand, so I’m not switching now lol! I like the way they look together…they match!

I wear mine together… but I wear them “backwards”… i.e. the wedding band after the e-ring. I just feel less like I could potentially lose my e-ring that way since I am paranoid!!

I’ll be wearing them together. My mom also wears them together.

@weddingmaven: I wear both of mine on my left hand ring finger. Wedding band inside, engagement ring outside.

Hm, my mum had a matching set and wore the two together (married in the early 1960’s). Mine weren’t intended to match, but I wear a plain gold band with my ER that sits flush, so they look like a set.

I will wear the e-ring and band (or bands, not sure if I want one or two yet) together on my left ring finger. That leaves my right open for the other rings I’ve been given, and hopefully soon a pink sapphire halo in rose gold!

I wear mine together. Sometimes I take my e-ring off and just wear my band though.

@weddingmaven: I am planning to wear my wedding ring and engagement ring on the same finger. A woman in a jewelry store recently mentioned to me that wearing the e-ring on my right hand once I have the wedding band would be a way to reduce wear on the two rings, but I’ve always imagined myself wearing the 2 rings on my left ring finger. My e-ring band is very thin, and I’m going to have a custom-made 4 mm-wide wedding band which will fit pretty close to the engagement ring, so having both on one finger should be fine. Here’s a picture of my e-ring:

Together and I have a fairly wide wedding band but I love it!

@weddingmaven: I’ll probably wear mine like this a majority of the time, but since my band is chunkier I might choose to just wear the band after awhile.
