I was raised in a strict Christian household with my mom dad and brother. My mother wouldn’t let me wear cute lace panties or even with designs on them. I always had to wear solid granny panties. Even after I turned 18, I still couldn’t wear cute panties. I started working and bought myself a thong, she found it and boy did I get in trouble. My mother wouldn’t let me walk around the house wiithout a bra on under my shirt, but my dad and brother could walk around shirtless. In all of that. I am excited about moving in with my husband, so I can wear what I want. I have bought a bunch of sexy lingerie and underwear, I’m sure my husband won’t mind me being so free.

I bet you are excited! It took me the longest time in high school to convince my mom I wanted super cute underwear but that no one else would see it, lol. Have fun shopping!

Your mom doesn’t know what kind of animal she let loose by not letting you wear cute panties. LOL Go crazy with it!!

So tickled that you can buy all the pretty little underpinnings your heart desires!

Haha, I was the same way growing up and man did I have fun buying my cute thongs and lingerie!!
I actually was perusing the selection at Target a few days ago. FYI, they have sexy, cute, lacey stuff that is fairly inexpensive compared to stores like VS, etc.

I would throw a panty party or shower! LOL
Good for you for remaining modest and saving your sexy for you husband 🙂

My mom let me wear thongs in high school out of a pity- my butt is so mal proportioned that a size of undies that fit my hips gave me wicked VPL. Yay for an understanding mom!

Oh man, you will have so much fun with all the awesome sexy lingerie out there! 😀
I remember my mom trying to convince me to buy a bra with lace and I was like “But mom! No one will ever even SEE IT!” and she was like “Sometimes it’s nice to know that you have pretty things on, even if it’s just for yourself.” And I thought “Whatever, Mom, you’re nuts!” Haha

LOL this is usually the opposite of married panties, well, I was expecting the opposite! Going from lacy things to wearing nana panties ^_^

I am also excited about the married panties. I have been buying lots of cute stuff for FH to see after we’re married.

@sunrunner: HAHA..I thought the same thing! I totally thought this post would be my recent thoughts. As a joke, one of my bridesmaids threw a red satin pair of LITERALLY granny panties (could go over the outside of a paper grocery bag) with all my new bridal lingerie. I was slacking on laundry one night and threw them on..Darling Husband almost died but they were so. damn. comfortable.
seriously..I might be a granny panty convert.
ETA – OP, they have some really cute “just married” panties at VS!

@SexyPrincessBride2012: embarrassing story!
I too grew up in a conservative household (Muslim) and when I got married I vowed to throw away all my panties and order all new ones.
I ordered 55 pairs of panties from VS like 2 weeks before my wedding day (I got lots of VS giftcard at my bridal shower)….BUT I forgot to ship them to my new address so they went to my parents. Well, when the box came, my mom called me and told me i had a package…and I just said…”well, open it. it’s probably a belated wedding gift.”
sure enough…55 pairs of lacies and satin g-strings….ahhhhh! She laughed…she’s like: Who the heck are you are–an exotic dancer, who needs THIS MANY satin panties?…yeeeah, I guess I went overboard.
