My planning has gone smoothly so far. So smoothly that I’m scratching my head at what the heck to do for the next 7 months! I’ve got everything pretty much squared away…from the invites, to the decor, the vendors, food, music, got my dress, honeymoon is booked, etc. And everything that I CAN’T do yet, I have set as a reminder in my calendar so I take care of it when I need to.
From your experience, what details/plans popped up at the last minute and may have added to your stress in planning? I’m going to try to take care of these now while I’m impatiently counting down the days until the wedding just happens!

Since my in-laws hosted the rehearsal dinner, I assumed they would actually take the hosting duties, not just foot the bill.
It ended up being a bit stressful to be hostess (i.e. rearranging tables, dishing out food, opening wine bottles, asking our servers for whatever we needed, etc.). Writing it down now it really doesn’t seem like a big deal and I was probably just stressed, but it was hard to really enjoy the dinner because I had to take charge. This could have been avoided by talking to my in-laws, instead of just assuming that they would do it.

Mainly guest drama, like chasing RSVP’s, adding people last minute that kind of thing. And things I’d completely forgotten about and said ‘Oh crap!’ but I wasn’t very organized either time LOL. The days before and of the wedding(s) were all busy, but it was all stuff I’d known about like picking up the dress, alterations (the first time), decorating, that sort of thing.

How much to tip the hair and makeup girls. I was scrambling to figure that out!

Well, seeing as I only have 2 months I hope I get some good pointers on this thread. I need to write all the last minute stuff I have to still do down or I will forget.
