It's amazing what surgery will do, no?
Seriously tho, I was just looking at the latest Living magazine. They airbrush the living snot out of her. She looks like she's 30 in the magazine pics.
Yup!
Have you seen the Martha-mentary? I think it's called Martha, Inc.
It came on Lifetime one day when I was home for break, and it was AWESOME.
Then I found the DVD for sale at Blockbuster for five dollars. You know I bought it. I tried to make my friends watch it, but they thought I was crazy. The few that did agreed. It was AWESOME.
In short, go find a copy of Martha, Inc. and watch it. Whoa! There is a sequel.
Wow she's older than I thought...I thought low 60's but only b/c my mom is 54 and looks ridiculous for her age--but she IS half korean and they age nicely...Martha's famous and famous people can afford all the luxuries of nice makeup on television and a little plastic surgery without looking like they had it done, no? Or restalyn injections, whatever.
Maybe this is proof that butter, fat, sugar, and flour IS GOOD FOR YOU! =]
Not saying she did...just saying that when you have lots of money, it's easy to have access to the best of the best so you age nicely =].
Demi Moore anyone? lol
She is Martha. She will outlive us all.
(I think it must fumes from all the craft glue. Nothing erases those fine lines and brightens the complexion like a slightly toxic facial.)
@teaandtoast - hahaha! I think the craft glue is a preserving agent.
This image will blow your mind- this was a pic of Martha done up by the late, great makeup artist Kevin Aucoin, (may he rest in peace.) I think she was in her 50's at the time:
I believe it. My mom is 66 and looks like she's 50, no joke. And she's just an average white lady with brown hair (and a few blonde highlights to cover the stray gray hairs). My mom has some wrinkles, but not many, and I pray that I age like her. ^_^
I will say, while it's possible Martha has maaaaybe had a little bit of work done (and who can blame her--she's rich and she's on tv *shrug*), some people just age really well.
She was a model in the 60's. I think she looked a little like Kate Moss in this pic.
Omigosh too funny!
She looks INSANELY airbrushed in that photo of her in her 50's.
I get a big kick out of running photoshop actions on people and watching them skyrocket to superglam with amazing skin and no wrinkles. My mom loves it too, LOL
68 is a lot younger than it used to be. My grandma's 68 and she plays tennis every single day and looks great!
wow...I didn't know she was a model. She DOES look like Kate Moss there!
Wow, no way! She looks fantastic. I've seen some of those model photos of her--she's gorgeous!
I caught a little of her interview on Dateline last night. They were talking about her fitness schedule, and the topic of getting sick came up. Martha said, "I don't get sick. Why would I do that?" She was so serious, like people were crazy for getting sick.
wow she looks great for that age! Wow she looked really hot when she was younger and was a model! ^_^
Go Martha!
@teaandtoast: I laughed so hard at your comment. She probably WILL outlive us all... lol she's one tough bird.
OMG that model picture..is that really her!? She does resemble Kate Moss in that picture!! Wow, from model to crafty!!
HOLY CRAP!
I had NO idea that Martha was a model. Who knew! LOL
She looked damn good back in the day. LOL
I met her once in an elevator. She looks very young and not in that "fake" way that people who have too much plastic surgery do. I wouldn't be surprised if she's never had any work done.
She was also extremely nice, which sort of surprised me. She struck up a conversation with me, not the other way around. It was one of my favorite celebrity encounters!
I LOVE MARTHA STEWART!!! She friggin' rocks all the time!!! However I was lmao about the statement she made abour Rachel Ray (who I friggin' love too!!)..
wow!! had no idea she was close to 70! she was / is a hottie!! def see the kate moss in her!
I'm seriously still in shock.
ps @ hotchild - ONE OF your fave celeb encounters? DO TELL what others you've had!!! I've had um, TWO... Christina Ricci babysat me, and I was once in the same restaurant as Yao Ming & Tracy McGrady. (ps.. they are strain- your- neck tall!)
Did you hear that she bad mouthed Rachel Ray?! I just done see why...Rachel Ray is so different from her and theres no reason to.
ok where to start here...
I'm going to have to do some major image googling now - is that really Martha in that pic????
@hotchild: Yes, def. need more celeb stories!!
@kjpugs: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Details on the babysitting please!!
HOLY CRAP!!
Seriously?? I thought like upper 50's!! WOW!!! That's nuts!! That's even better than Oprah!!
& omg-that picture is crazy!!
I found some more pics with Martha describing what's going on in the pics!!!
@honeybun I grew up in Montclair NJ (actually make it 3- my mom was the Kindergarten teacher for Bobbi Brown - the makeup artist's- 3 sons so we've been to her house many times when I was in middle school, and I have a few signed books of hers) anyways Montclair is a pretty well-known and nice city in Jersey, and the pool club I belonged to was where they filmed Pete & Pete actually. Christina went there, she had already filmed Mermaids but Addams Family came out right afrer the summer she babysat me. I remember her being extremely annoying and she went up to her sister Pia at the snack bar once and said "If I rip this dollar in half, can it be $2?" Now clearly she was trying to be funny but I remember thinking, sheesh, even I KNOW that that doesn't make it two bucks! LOL
Didn't realize she was that old. She has been around for a long long time though. I think I just don't think about anyone aging beyond what they were before.
HAHAHAHA love it!!!! And I totally remember Pete and Pete!! Wow, but hadn't thought about that show in SOOOO long. I remember my brother was like obsessed with it!
SEriously guys... what would you do if you met Martha? I'd probably drool beacuse I'd forget to function. She's so impressiveeee!
@honeybun-that's soo cool! She looks somewhat different but in one she looks the same!
Agreed... I think the 1st one (with the smile!) looks like her. THe others I'd NEVER recognize as Martha.
LOL anyone think she had a BumpIt in the 60's in that one pic? LOL!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I thought she was like, mid 50's, max. I had no idea she was almost 70. That's absolutely crazy!
