Yup, we're doing these in pale green and blue for our outdoor reception. There are tons of pics online! :) Here are a couple more. The second one is from SMP.

Oh, also check out these DIY tissue pom vines and fabric poms on OnceWed.

thanks ladies for the pictures... im thinking of using red tissue paper. now i have to figure out where to buy it
I love this look so much!! I want to decorate the patio area at our venue with them. I even tried making some...they came out so bad! haha
I know there is an etsy seller that sells the wedding poms, but I am still gonna practice making them in hopes of saving myself some money
I love these! Does anyone have a DIY tutorial for the ones posted here? I like these better than others I have seen. Are they easy to make?
@Tonya - the vine and fabric poms have a tutorial at the OnceWed link I posted above.

Good luck! My sister already knows how to make them, so I'm doing whatever she tells me to. :)
I am hanging a bunch over our dance floor for some added drama. Some white and some blush colored. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
im glad in not the only crazy one here.
@honeybear i didnt know there is an etsy seller. if that one that you make comes out nice please post pictures.
ladies if any of you make some please post pictures or tutorial
I'm going to try to make the Martha ones too. It LOOKS really easy, but who knows! Should be fun...
I used them once for a Valentine's Day party. They are being re-used for my shower tomorrow.
This was before I hung them. The kitties were in love!
I just bought a whole lot (like 35) off etsy. I saw them in Martha Stewart weddings and LOVED it but have neither the time nor the inclination to make them so I paid for someone else to! They should be arriving from the US soon! I'm planning on hanging them over our dancefloor and perhaps from the tree that we're standing in front of for our ceremony. I'm so excited about them!
girls: i tried to make them but after five tried i decided not to make them for the wedding. after fighting i and trying i got the result i wanted but is a lot of work. to much for my taste and is very challenging. i dont think i can make 30 of them... well now i will just dream with them
Michael's has a kit to make them with white tissue..maybe you could hang them from red ribbon???
The etsy seller I bought mine off was PomLove. There's about a 3 or 4 week wait on them from when you order them though, cos I imagine they're a pain in the arse to make!
jduck, the fabric ones are amazing. I would use those to decorate my HOUSE.. (and I might!) Don't think I have enough time to add them into the weddnig... SO cool though.
The tissue ones (at least the way I'm making them) take FOREVER. They look awesome though. I'm just making 8 of them to line the aisle.
