We’re using DanceMaster DJs. Their rates are good, they’re super nice people and they’ve done so many weddings. They are well-informed and have good relations with most, if not all of the venues in Baltimore. It kind of depends on what you want out of your DJ, though. Are you looking for something more basic? DJ Orlando was also fantastic, but we wanted the option to have extra lights and have 2 people there just to make sure that everything would go smoothly and Orlando didn’t really offer that. PM me if you have other questions, we did a ton of research…

We’re using MusicMaster’s.  They were on our venue’s recommended DJ’s list.  $1k for 5-6 hours in 2 rooms.  They have a huge number of references that used them for the type of music you’re looking for.

I have heard horror stories about Music Masters. They offend book their DJ’s days before your event. They charge entire two much for what you get with them. Management is awful and I can’t book a company not knowing who will show up the day of my wedding. My best friend used them and she got a brand new DJ who was late and messed up the introductions.

AJ Productions

AJ is amazing! He’s doing my wedding and I’ve been to others where he was the DJ.  Not only that, he’s a friend that I’ve know for 10+ years so I speak highly of him.

I’m using Masters Productions…so far so good. Percy and his team has good review on wedding wire.

I love Bryan George Music.  I’ve been to a couple weddings where he has DJed (probably because we went to college together) but I have been immensely impressed wiht his professionalism even when he knows the bride and/or groom personally.   And his music choices are just awesome 🙂

Try Eric @ MyDeeJay.com, Tom Gavin is cool also at DJ Delights and Al @ 2 Hype Entertainment (he would be the cheapest)

@HueysLuda:  OH HELL YEAH!!!!!! It’s gotta be what I’m looking forward to the most besides actually being married, LOL.

Funny story:  I first met him at my community yard sale, he used to live in my community before he moved to a newer development.  When I met him we were planning a DW so I had no need of his DJ services.  Fast forward a year later, DW is cancelled and we’re at a local bridal event where he has a booth/setup.  I see him but couldn’t remmeber until afterwards where I knew him from. I took that as a sign that it was meant to be.  Besides the fact that I couldn’t stop dancing from the minute I walked in the room!!

FI & I need to start working on our list of songs, but I’m not too worried!

@HueysLuda:  I used to work for a wedding venue downtown in Baltimore, and we used Percy Norman/Master Productions for a lot of things.  Never had any complaints and everything always went well!  Enjoy!  🙂
