Please recommend or share with me some blue themed candy ideas for these large Mason Jars I have. I think they’re 8 oz jars. Originally, I was planning to do blue jelly bellys, but I feel they are too small of a candy and I’d have to buy tons of jelly beans. Any other ideas? My wedding is on 10/01. So tell me whats your favorite wedding favor candy??
I’d prefer to fill them up with candy beforehand and double their use with the guests name and table number! Is it weird if I fill the mason jar only halfway up with some candy and then put their name tag inside on top of the candy?
Thanks in advance!

@dianeanthony: Not sure, but I found this bulk candy website where you can choose candy by color!
I like the blue saltwater taffy, it’s a little larger so you may not have to buy as much.

I wouldn’t put the card inside… that will only encourage peope to open them early. You could use that as the tag though, I’ve had lots of brides do that.
You’ll probably find blue jordan almonds or taffy to be the least expensive option.

I am a big, big fan of those blue raspberry sour strings.

Since you wedding is in October, halloween candy will be out, so they will have marked down prices. If you want all blue this wont work, but they have almond joys in m&m’s now, they come in blue, white and brown mixed together… that might look cool in each jar..
