This is great! The song “Masquerade” from Phantom of the Opera popped into my head; what if you watch that scene in the movie to get more ideas? And maybe use feathers: peacock or white/off-white? Can’t wait to see it all unfold!

We’re doing a Masquerade wedding!  The wedding itself is in a theatre and will be on-stage.  The reception will have a masquerade/Phantom of the Opera feel to it.

I like your colors, ours are red and black.  As the wedding party enters the reception, they have to enter via 2 flights of stairs and are coming down to “Masquerade” from Phantom.  We made masks for each member of the wedding party.

So cool. I wanted a masquerade ball wedding so bad, and I wanted to have it right around Halloween but FI didn’t like the idea so we’re having a generic fall theme earlier in October. It’ll be nice but not nearly as awesome.
