I’m planning to have my maids in mix-match dresses. I’m basically going to pick a company, fabric, length, and color. They can pick their dress from the styles that fall under that category. (Example: I tell them to pick a Chiffon dress from Mori Lee that is X color and short length. They are basically just picking the cut of the dress)
Because I’m allowing them to pick unmatched dresses to meet their body type, I can’t decide what to do about shoes. My only stipulation thus far is that they have to wear flats, as I’m already a good 3 inches shorter than my shortest bridesmaid, and almost a foot shorter than the tallest.
However, should I just tell them to pick flats in a certain color, or should I pick a style for them to all wear, so that they will have one element of their outfit that is matching?

I would just tell them the color and let them pick their own

I would just tell them color and flats, that way they can get what’s comfy for them and in their price range.

Yep, ask for the color and since the flats thing is due a a height issue, I’m sure they will understand, just let them pick their own style of flat.

just matchin color will be enough, every girl has a different shoe style and diferent feet type, so let them pick the style.

I think they can have different colored flats. They will all still match with the dresses and the flat shoes.

I would either pick a color or pick a specific style for the shoes, but let them determine the rest.

I told them the color I wanted and let them pick what they wanted.

I told them all to get gold or champagne colored shoes and they chose their own – looked great!
