Is there anything that you both enjoy? You could get something that you each want, but use similar colors or have words on both that fit together or something.

I wouldn’t get a name either, but I don’t mind coordinating tattoos!

What about getting your wedding date?

That is a really awesome tat. Mr. FF and I have tat’s that aren’t the same but they match. We both are in the EMS/Fire service so we each a tat that is us together but each of use differently. I would suggest finding something that you both love that is both apart of you and make it your own.  Good luck. I would like to hear about what you get later on.

FI wanted to get a tattoo of my name.  I’m not big on names as tattoos.  So, he will be getting a replica of my tattoo on him.  I have a big phoenix on my back and he will go to the same artist to get that on his chest.  And since the phoenix represents my name anyways, we get the best of both worlds.

In return, I will take two of his tats (of stars) and put it on me.  His are on his arms, I will put them below my navel area.

Maybe get inked with something looked at from the front and back?  I saw this on a couple and I thought it was AWESOME! (Front of tiger, back of the tiger)

We have matching tattoos! We got them a few months after being engaged. It’s our monogram, so it’s not quite names but it’s basically the same thing.

I’ve always wanted to get the infinity symbol. I look at it as our love is never-ending, blah blah cheesy, I know. Here is a pic.

My MOH and her man are tattoo people too – they have the Chinese symbols for Together through Thick and Thin – Matching but in differnt spots and sizes.  I love the infinity symbol.  What if you got that on your wrist and his shoulder?

Soon2Be, I like the lips idea! So cute! (as long as your Mr. doesn’t think it’s too feminine).

My FI has never been a tattoo person, but I have four and he loves them on me.  I recently mentioned that I wanted to get a small tattoo that is in some way symbolic to our relationship, and I wasn’t even suggesting that he do it with me, but he said he wanted to! He is really excited about it.

We are getting matching suns, because various uses of "sun" and "sunshine" have been a recurring thing in our relationship, ever since the beginning. We referred to each other as "sunshine" in each other’s lives. We communicated via the internet a lot early in our relationship (and still do, because I don’t like to talk on the phone), and his screen name is a Latin word that means "sunniest one."  We make references to the sun all the time now, buy each other cards that mention it, etc.  It’s really the perfect symbol for us.

I love the kiss on the shoulder and wrist.  Very sweet.  I think that a tattoo (whether it be lips or not) in these two spots would have a lot of meaning.  It’s a great idea!  I’m also in love with the infinity sign but that’s a personal thing and I am a strong believer that if you’re going to get a tattoo it should be meaningful to you.. no pick and sticks..haha
