We didn't match our GM to the BM. The BM wore a brown dress and all the men, except my husband were in black tuxes with black vests and ties.
No you don't have to match. I actually think it's better when they compliment each other but don't match.
ours kind of matched. my main wedding color was pink, and i didn't want to make the boys wear pink, so my husband and i just picked another springy color, yellow. the girl's dresses did have some yellow in it, but i still didn't feel like it was too matchy.

This is just my opinion- but I hate matchy-matchy tux vests with dresses. It's too prom-like to me. I would go with complimenting colors.

Hey Bees,
Just curious, is it better to match the BM's dresses to the GM's tux? My BM's dresses are red but I would rather the GM's wear ivory or champagne vest/ties. FYI-my colors are ivory, deep red, champagne and hint of antique gold
What are you guys doing?
