Goodwill! 2 pair for $3.50 in excellent condition,

But seriously, the pairs I got were last seasons Motherhood maternity and I really like the fit/length, so maybe look there?

I never found any maternity shorts that I liked, so I lived in maxi skirts/dresses during the summer.

Exactly what Cory_loves_this_girl said!  I found shorts uncomfortable and went for capris and dresses.  I did buy stretchy capris at Walmart that were not maternity and those lasted me until delivery!

I found some cute ones at Target, but I’ve been living in maxi dresses, I find shorts and pants so uncomfortable right now, even if their my right size, dresses are just no-fuss lol

I found a pair at macys that I liked. I think it might have been from the Pea in the Pod line.

I just bought two pairs that I really like.

From Old Navy:  http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=65527&vid=1&pid=953992032

And the Gap:  http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=6930&vid=1&pid=958668002

The Gap ones are really nice.  I got them in black and they could be dressed up or down and are a really nice soft twill fabric.  They are a bit pricier, but I got them when they had a 35% off sale so pretty reasonable. The Old Navy ones are a more casual but super comfy and stay put…and for $17 you can’t go wrong!

I tried these full panel ones from Old Navy and did not like them at all:  http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=65527&vid=1&pid=936263052

I also got this skirt from Old Navy and it’s great too:  http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1011078&vid=1&pid=633374142

When I was pregnant last summer I found some really nice (and cheap!) maternity shorts at Walmart of all places.

Ive seen them everwhere, which really pisses me off because my legs got so chubby as I’m just entering my 9th month and it’s starting to warm up and now I can’t wear shorts because a) I don’t want to waste money when I’m not going to be pregnant very much longer and b) my legs currently resemble tree trunks and c) they are as white as printer paper. =((( go out and get some if you don’t have these problems! I saw a bunch at target and motherhood, as well as H&M.

I’m too early to buy them, but was walking around Target yesterday and couldn’t resist looking at what I had coming up in the future. and there shorts weren’t bad. I didn’t look at the price, but you could try there 🙂

Did you know many stores are doing away with the maternity sections? My mom and I went shopping for my birthday to get maternity outfits. The only stores that had a maternity section IN STORE were Macy’s, Sears, and Kohls. Our local Target already got rid of thier maternity section and kohls will eliminate it too, according to the manager we spoke to. And the motherhood store in the mall- gone. It’s a specialty item and doesn’t do too well. Everything will soon be online only 🙁 I was so dissapointed. The stores that did have maternity clothes had like…4 racks? Just lonely little corners of clothes.

Anyway…

I did get some very comfortable denim shorts at sears. They have some stretch to the denim, so they hug my hips and thighs wonderfully, and the little stretchy pouch area has a lot of room to grow. They were on sale for $19.99. Everywhere else I looked they wanted $40+ per pair.

Good luck!
