I have two close friends…one since I was young and another for the past 6 years…I am extremely close with both in different ways. I was my friends maid of honor and feel like she should be my matron now but my newer friend is like my sister and I really want her to be the matron. I do not want to hurt anyones feelings but I also want it to be how I want it…I saw somewhere a matron of honor AND a matron of the bride. What is the difference?

I have never heard of matron of the bride, where did you come across that? Anyways, is there any reason why you can’t have them both be matrons of honor? And just because you were the MOH at your friend’s wedding doesn’t mean that you have to automatically have her be your MOH.
If you would rather have your newer friend be your MOH, then that is your choice. Hopefully your other friend will respect your choice, and still wish to be a part of your day if you plan to have her be a BM.
