@suez:  How about the sleep number bed? I know it is super expensive but you can adjust each side individually and have the level of comfort that you want. 🙂

@suez:  Oh man… maybe get him to go lay on them in the store? My Fiance thought we would spend 400-500 bucks for a queen mattress… haha no. We went into the store, the guy showed us the Serta iSeries I believe, it’s got springs but also some memory foam/gel mix that makes it feel like heaven. It was 1299 haha. Thankfully his dad budgeted us for 3000 for our bedroom set/mattress, and our bedroom set ended up being cheap, around 2000 so it was close enough. A good mattress is really nice. After laying on the expensive one we tried all the others, including one in  his original price range. Simply can’t compare the two. Maybe if you get him to lay on different mattresses at a store he will change his mind!!

We love our memory foam mattress. We figured out what foam densities we wanted and then got the same type/density/thickness of foam as the tempurpedic for about $1000 less. With the same warranty. Been sleeping on it for 3 years and it’s awesome!

A mattress won’t solve the snoring or light issue. Have you tried night lights? Earplugs?
