Not honeymooning there, but I’ve been before and it’s GORGEOUS! Really a top-notch resort.

It’s totally amazing-the service is really the best and I’m a loyal repeat-visitor.  Stayed in every single hotel in Maui-I think πŸ™‚  But, I am spending my wedding night at the Four Seasons and we’re eating at Wolfgang’s Spago restaurant (or whatever it’s called-incredible and very hard to get a res (make one now-seriously).  That said, Four Seasons rocks because they don’t nickel and dime you for every last thing once you’re there.  Pool Cabanas are free (get one early!) and parking is free, etc.  The pool is a tiny bit lacking but it’s easy to slip over to the Kea Lani (way better and with a water slide) order a cocktail and go for a swim. The Kea Lani also has an adult pool which is really nice because July is high season for families on Maui.  But if for some reason you want to experience a full-on circus, then go over to the Grand Wailea.  It’s easy to sneak into their pool too (but not the waterslides-wristband required).  I justify the pool-hopping because I don’t take up a lounge chair πŸ™‚ But definitely grab one of the hotel towels-yours will give you away. lol

Also, Wailea beach is better than the one in front of the Kea Lani-they actually water the sand so you don’t burn your feet on the way to your chair.  Awesome πŸ™‚  So, you get all the luxury of the Four Seasons and you get to sample the other properties too (the spa at the Grand Wailea is world-famous and fabulous).

Okay, so is that enough info? lol  Hope you have a great honeymoon (totally can’t wait for mine πŸ™‚ and let me know if you want any other Maui tips-I’ve spent so much time there that I’m considered “ohana” (family πŸ™‚

We were so close to booking the 4 Seasons Maui for our honeymoon and we actually have a friend who went there on his honeymoon. You won’t have a bad experience, it was recommended #1 by CondeNastetraveler and has amazing tripadvisor reviews. We just decided not to go to Hawaii since it is too far and too expensive, but would be at the 4 Seasons in a heartbeat if we could afford it.

we are very close to booking here for march 19-25 (going to vail for a few days to ski first on our “surf and turf” honeymoon.) we are sort of deciding between here and the 4 seasons big island, but i can’t justify the cost of that hotel, even though it’s supposed to be AMAZING. plus, the one in maui has a way better beach, and maui sort of has the best of everything. did you book?

The Four Seasons there is fantastic! They even offer a luggage forwarding service so you can ship all your luggage there ahead of time, and they will unpack for you.
