Envelopes are being addressed (by mom) now! Just finished making the envelope liners and the printer is printing the actual invites. Hope they'll be out around the 15th.
Cake is booked, flowers are booked, trumpet player is booked, menu is selected. Dresses just need to be taken in a bit. But, the reality is setting in as the invites are going out!!!!
I'm May 14th... But I think I'm the only one- anyone mind if I join in with the May 15th crowd???
My invites are out (sent 2 weeks ago, most people are out of town and I didn't send STDs so I wanted to give them time to make travel plans...) But, otherwise we're a little behind! Next week is my spring break so we'll be ordering decorations, doing our tasting, finalizing photog and planning the groom/groomsman outfits as well as writing our ceremony! Whew!
omg, ur all so ahead of me!! invites arrived about a week ago. but i didnt even address them yet.. and cost of postage has me freakin!!! hopefully ill have em out in no more than 2 weeks. do you think thats pushin it???
Postage costs us 61 for invitation and 41 for RSVP...

We sent our invites out by my self-imposed March 1 deadline, but just barely. I spent the entire last weekend in February busting my butt to get them done. Now the RSVPs are starting to trickle in and it is making everything worth it!
i'm may 14th too!!! can i join?? lol
invites are out thank goodness. i totally forgot about postage too until like the day before and i was like daaaaang! my postage was extreme too because it was a "larger size" so it was $1.05 PER invite plus 44 cents for the rsvps inside, so that sucked.
now i need to focus on favors, menus, ceremony programs and doing the other stuff like fittings and such. hmm i still need to find a veil too
Invites went out today!!! Yaay, I'm so excited! I'm finally feeling like things are getting done!
The FI and I just spent well over 2 hours compiling and working towards having our ceremony written... We're still a looooong way... but its super nice to know its atleast started! AND my centerpieces and flowers are ordered and will arrive on Tuesday! Tasting complete as well. All is right on schedule :)
Hello May 15th brides!!! Well, my FMIL is addressing our invite envelopes this weekend then they will be stuffed, postaged, and on there way!!!! To me the invites going out is what really makes it feel so close!! We have our flowers ordered, cakes ordered, minister chosen, photographer paid, rings ordered and paid for, entertainment deposit paid, chairs and tent ordered and deposit paid!!! Now my BM's dresses should be here next week and they need to be altered my dress fitting isn't until April so I'm good, my flower girls dress is still in the making which in turn is making me nervous!!! We are looking for yellow ties with some kind of charcoal gray design for our guys if any of you know where to find some please let me know! Last but not least we are having trouble with linens any suggestions???? Thanks girls! And I can't wait to see pics of everyones big day!!! Happy Planning!!!
OH MY GOSH! TWO MONTHS from today!!!!The countdown is really on now!
Invites are out and RSVPs are rolling in. Linens are my main last minute must do. Meeting with DOC this weekend, my attire and FIs attire are all assembled, we have our officiant, and rings. Things are rolling right along.
It's going to be here before we know it! Yay for 5-15-10
RSVPs are making it very real that we're so close! What else is on your last minute to do lists? I'm worried I'm going to forget something important! When are you sending out your Rehearsal Dinner invites?
@richmondbride - I'm sending our RD invites out a month before (I'm May 14th but I forced my way into this thread lol!)
@bloodgo1 - We were almost May 14th also! We'll just make it the weekend of May 14th thread!
well... i finally sent out invites yerterday... a little late, but im just glad that giant stack of envelopes is off my table!!! first dress fittin this tuesday even though ive had my dress for about a year! but everything else has fallen into place already. weve got the dj photographer florist linens favors and every other detail i can think of covered. and the rehearsal is guna be so much fun, just the officiant immidiate family and the wedding party at a great family friends house and i cant wait!
How are you girls handling the details coming together?
I am stuck on trying to figure out what kind of table numbers we want. Blech...
I can't believe were only one month away!!! CRAZY!! Anyone freaking out yet? lol My stomach feels like it's always in knots!!!!
yikes, one month!! i am waiting on my flower estimate from the florist (still, grr) and need to figure out ceremony music (doing recorded, couldn't find live musicians). otherwise i think i'm pretty much done but waiting on final counts as of next week!! yikes.
Anyone else getting more anxious? I am starting to get nervous stomach and if it keeps up for the next month I might not survive this thing!
We are actually doing good with getting stuff done, and we checked some MAJOR stuff off of the list last week: final decisions on music, flowers, and rentals. We also got our marriage license and finally found my mom something to wear.
But we still have a lot to do of course: finalize ceremony decor, make programs, make table assignments, make menu cars. We also still need to get dance lession squeezed in and get final answers on rsvps from a few hold outs. I am feeling like most of the stuff left is doable, mostly because if it doesn't come together I will just cross it off the list because it isn't essential.
23 days left! I'm actually rather excited and not worried/nervous at all :) I *am* worried about getting my final papers done with this week and next... But the wedding things are more or less under control.We have a couple small purchases left, need to pick a first dance song and a recessional song, put the bouquets together, and make a couple quick and easy paper projects... But thats it!

time to wrap this up and put a bow on it and enjoy the last few days!!!!!
eep!! Getting close.. anyone have a 'day of' dont-forget list they want to share?? I think I'm almost done with everything...
So close! I have had butterflies all day long! Too bad I have work for two more days or else I could just stay home and try to finish up all of the last minute things I have to do.
