1 item, purchased yesterday. :) I was so surprised to see that!
34 items. My DC shower was this past weekend and my Boston shower is this weekend.
20 items (all for my shower this past weekend). 30 items are left, but we expect to get cash for the wedding.
114 - We've had two showers, and we're registered for our fine china individually by piece (and have received 7 5-piece place settings).
So far it has been 33 items...we had a shower a couple of weeks ago. It's fun coming home and having a "gift" waiting for you. :)
i have 30 some things bought off the registry!!! yay!!! im most excited about my kitchenaid mixer though!!! and my new silverware!!! yay!
So exciting ladies!!!! My shower is April 23rd and I can't wait!
Our first gift arrived yesterday! Loverboy is out of town but I couldn't stop myself from peeking.......it's really happening!! WHOO HOO!!! We are one month away! :)
So far 29 gifts. My shower is this weekend!! I can't wait! It's so much fun to see what people are buying!!!
Just one!!! But I'm super excited because the fiance and I choose 2 items each that we wanted for ourselves, and that was onf of mine!!
UPDATE... 34 total today!! Someone bought my Keurig, complete with spinning carousel and pods!!! YES!!!
22 items so far! My shower is next Saturday so that's helping things along.
i made my own honeymoon registry with paypal, and last week we got a donation of $300 from one person. yaaaay!
for our wedding shower, we actually are registered with macys and target and no one has bought anything :(
37... I have forty people attending my shower, and its this weekend. FH and I have lived together for 4 years now so we have alot of the main things. If we get doubles of what we already have we will just return and get what we need ;)
@Tswife4ever: My shower is the same date. Woot! Just a couple of weeks away...
We have 19 purchases! We also got a some $200 in cash, and three gifts that people gave us that were non-registry (so sweet and awesome!). We had an engagement party and I had a bridal luncheon, but neither of those was a 'shower', so gifts were not mentioned at all.
none :( but ours is a cruise registry so I was expecting that. most people don't go online and just pick something up before the wedding if we don't have a traditional one. lol.
Maybe 32? I had one shower a couple weeks ago, and the other is this Sunday. A couple of those were from my honeyfund registry (big stuff there), and the rest were from Bed Bath & Beyond. We also got some money.
We've only had 2 purchased. Granted, they were the priciest (food processor and knife set) and we've already received them (we're stoked to use them!).
We've been living together for a few years and we're an older couple. We weren't going to do a registry at all, yet we had several people asking where we were registered. So, we did that for the people who absolutely feel like they want to bring a gift. However, we have now had some people ask if we're registered anywhere else because they didn't see anything on our registry that they wanted to get us.
Huh!?!?
I thought we were being thoughtful and courteous that we DIDN'T ask for expensive stuff (with the exception of the food processor and knife set which we never thought in a million years anyone would buy). Apparently our stuff isn't good enough for people to purchase!?!
my shower is April 23 and we have 40 total purchased, I check it everyday and text my hubby to be and he yells at me because he says I wont be suprised at the shower, but I tell him that not everyone uses the registry. I have been an offender of this myself. Sometimes you just want to pick out something special for someone that isnt on the registry. We have been together for 4+ years and just recently purchased a home together so we registered for a ton of new things to replace some of the older things for a fresh start. I never thought I would get excited for new appliances or silverware, Ha Ha
The shower was last Sunday and the total was 51 items. We were so lucky to get a lot of the expensive kitchen electric stuff we wanted (blender, food processor, hand blender, wine refridge, kitchen aid mixer etc). The people that didn't buy off the registery got us gift cards to the place we registered ( Bed Bath and Beyond). We are going this weekend to return some of the stuff that was "filler" stuff and get some of the more practical things we wanted (pots and pans set etc).
One, and 4 of my former co-workers pitched in on it. :) A steam cleaner - which was the item I most desperately want. Clumsy FI, messy cats.
For the 4 showers I have already had..so far...
Bed bath and beyond- 65 items bought
Belks- 25 items bought
Pottery Barn- 10 items bought
so...100! :)
I still have 2 more showers....
