Hi ladies... I'm a May 22 bride also. Almost 6 months! Eek! I've done most of the big stuff - church, reception venue (including catering), photog, DJ, invitations, florist, dress. And we've made a decision on just about everything else: hair/makeup, baker, BM dresses, tuxes, honeymoon. I think the only thing that's still totally up in the air is whether we'll have a limo or not. And there's probably something big that I'm forgetting, but that wouldn't suprise me :)
I'm a May 22! Have you all sent out your STDs yet (if you're sending them)? If not, when are you planning to send them? thanks! Mine just arrived in the mail -- now I need to deal with the addresses, ugh!
We sent our STDs last week!! So far no one has seemed to check out the website, that I can tell but we're ready for them :-)

We had a big uhoh happen last night when requesting addresses through facebook (ms. manners probably wouldn't approve). We messaged multiple people at one time and they all were hitting reply to all, so our family and friends have random messages with other people's addresses. What a mess...oh well.
@busybecks... oh no! The pitfalls of social networking. I sent out like 30 individual emails -- though I copied and pasted the message each time, witha few minor adjustments. I was surprised at how quickly my friends got back to me -- I guess they really do want to be invited! My mom got her list, his mom got his, and the boy got his friends. We're almost there. Of course, figuring out how to address them has been a headache -- I finally threw my hands up and said "do it however you want!".
We sent out our save the dates a couple of months ago. As for addresses, I sent out a mass email (*shame*) but I put everyone's address in the BCC field, so no one could see who I was emailing, and they could only respond to me. Getting the addresses was one of the biggest pains. I'm so glad that part is over with!
six months today! I got to spend the weekend with my FI, so we spent the day watching Cake Bos and dreaming up crazy ideas for his cake.
we're sending our save the dates out on January 1st! I'm getting really excited!!!

I have an account at the Knot and moslty use it to count down the days until the wedding. 250 days was exciting, so was 220 & everytime we hit a round number it gets more exciting. But I really like when it hits a specific month out. ONLY 7 MORE!!! I know its time for me too get busy. Anybody else excited?
