I can't believe how close we are getting!! The time has flown by so quickly! I am through with most of the big items:dress, tuxes, venue, DJ, wedding party attire, catering, DIY invitations are done and just need to be sent out, and hair and makeup trial scheduled ... BUT I feel like I still have a million little things left to do: DIY programs, DIY table numbers, DIY menus, we have to learn how to dance to our song, I still have to book a ceremony musician, finish booking our honeymoon plus I'm doing my own flower arrangements and centerpieces! Wow, when you write it all out like that it sure seems like a lot! It's a lot, but I'm trying to stay positive. Good luck to you!!!
I'm getting kind of stressed out, but that's mainly due to the fact that I decided I hate my dress, so I ordered a new one that won't be in until April 1.
I still need to pay the deposit to our baker; DIY programs, menus, table numbers, and escort cards; buy wedding rings; decide on ceremony music; make playlists for the DJ... and probably a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting!
I'm going to be so glad when the day arrives and I won't have a chance to second guess myself anymore on stupid stuff like guestbooks and flowers! And then 5 days in Jamaica, woo hoo! :)
I am so jealous of yall being 3 months out! Ha!!
OMG that's so exciting getting to the 100 day mark, YAY!!!! It is going to FLY BY and I wish yall the very best of luck with wrapping up your planning and the big day!!! *hugs*!!
I am a nervous wreck! I need to do my DIY invitations and table numbers, pick a limo service, find a bakery and do a trial hair and make up. I have done so much already i mainly just have to pay everyone off.
It sounds like we're all in pretty good shape!!
My dress came in this week and fits perfectly! I think I will only need to get the hem done, but I still need to find shoes.
@polkadot - i hear ya about second guessing everything. It's a good thing finding our men wasn't as hard as picking out a dress! HAHA (I sold my first one too)
It's getting go close! I have most things done except the invites. They just need to be put together and addressed. Everything else is pretty DIY stuff that will get done the week before the wedding since I'll have the whole week off.
I feel very disorganized! But I'm getting there...my invites are still not in yet so can't address them or anything...don't have transportation done, haven't had a hair/makeup trial...just have so much to do! I do have the venue, dress, band, photographer, hotel, honeymoon, save the dates all done but there is just SO much to do. Trying to do at least one thing per day!
I feel like I am so far from being done that it may not all get finished
Both of us are working full time, trying to plan a move, plan a wedding and plan a honeymoon. I just don't think we'll have time for all the DIY details I would love to have...oh well the important thing is that we will be married!
It was so much easier to be able to focus on one thing at a time. Now there are so many balls in the air - my head is spinning!
Hoping to get rings and tuxes this weekend.
The scariest thing is that we sent out invites early and haven't gotten any "no"s yet! So much for the 80% rule.
I just keep focusing on the two most important things of all:
1. We get married.
2. Everyone has a good time.
I just keep following Martha's timeline. I jump ahead when I can but for the most part, I am right on track with her.
I'm starting to panic which isn't good since I have anxiety naturally! It doesn't help we just bought a new house and are moving this week. But oh well. If something doesn't get done, it just doesn't get done!
I am starting to get stressed! I can't decide which invites to buy and then we still need them printed, shipped, signed, sealed and delivered! We also have to pick an officiant, choose our honeymoon destination, get the guys tuxes, pick out centerpieces, pick out bridesmaids shoes and have my dress hemmed and bustled.
Egads! Any tips on any of those items?
@milanobride....we still have lots to do too! We have to get the invites printed & shipped, pick a honeymoon location, do centerpieces & bouquets. Its so exciting and so nervewrecking at the same time!
Wow, i didn't realize there was so many of us! I'm definitely getting a little stressed. We've only been engaged for two and half months maybe, so i haven't had too much time to do everything i wanted. Venue, food, florist, cake, transportation, officiant, DJ/lighting, photographer, STD, honeymoon and dress is all done. Sending out invites this weekend, shower invites go out a few days later or so i'm told, then i have all my menu cards and programs laid out, i just need to get them printed!

May 22 brides:
We are fast approaching the 100 day countdown and I've lost motivation for wedding planning :) Where are you at with your plans? I'm wondering if I'm on track or if I need to get moving with a few things.
I have the following things taken care of :
Venue, caterer, photographer, DJ, florist, baker, dress, tuxes, transportation, officiant... I can't think of anything else.
TO DO:
Send out invitations at the end of Feb, finalize ceremony itinerary, finalize music lists for DJ, DIY table numbers and favors, schedule trial hair and make up, walk through with venue to finalize all plans, yikes... BUY CLOTHES FOR SURPRISE HONEYMOON..WOO!
Where are you with plans?
