Shaema, where did you see the sunny forecast for the cape? I've been checking too and ours says rain on May 22 :-( We're out in Truro though, maybe the forecast is different where you're getting married
Ours is completely outdoors and in 2 DAYS! The forecast says 30% chance of rain, isolated t-storms. I'm not sure hot to feel about this as we don't really have a backup plan, should I be freaking out?
Mine is outside too and I have 60% chance of rain. I am completely freaking. I want to be sick. I know I should relax could be worse but I spent so much money and worked so hard. Now I have to settle for moving it all inside to a crowded room? UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
Mine is the 22nd. We're inside at a church but I still dont want rain! I didn't want outside for the very reason of trying to locate a rain location! Let's pray for no rain!
heatherlynn: we'll be in Falmouth (very jealous btw----Truro is our favorite but it was too far for our families) and the forecast has changed since I looked this morning. I'm not going to put too much stock in it since it's nine days away. Where in Truro are you getting married?
I just got married May 8, and when I started checking the 10 day forecast it said scattered thunderstorms. It actually predicted rain and thunderstorms all the way up to the night before our wedding. By that morning it was down to a 30% chance in the morning only, but for the day it didn't rain at all! It was beautiful and warm, and we were able to get the outside pictures we wanted! Relax for now ladies, because you are going to make yourself crazy worrying about the weather this far out. Trust me I did it too and it's not worth it.
MISS CHEEKY I WILL TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT. I DEF JUST WENT INTO A PANIC MODE WHICH IS SO NOT LIKE ME!
I know trust me I did the same thing. I was having a nervous breakdown before the wedding!! But honestly, it will change so much that you are going to stress yourself out! The forecast wasn't accurate for us until the morning of the wedding. I know it's hard but just try to not check it so that you don't make yourself upset
Thank you so much Miss Cheeky!!! Love advice from brides who have survived it :o) Any more adivce is welcome!!!
I just checked my area too - it says high 60's, partly cloudy (or mostly sunny depending on where you look) and a 10% chance of rain. So far so good. I'm hoping it doesn't change much.
Good luck to all you ladies with less satisfying forecasts - let's hope for a beautiful day all over the world!
Shaema: we're getting married in a church in wellfleet and then having our reception at the pamet harbor yacht club. it's soooo pretty there when it's nice out which is why i will be totally bummed it if does rain :-( where are you getting married in Falmouth?
I love the stories of brides who's forecast predicted bad weather and then they ended up with beautiful days, I hope the same happens for us!!
so far we have partly cloudy and sunny with over 20 degrees celsius in toronto. i hope that it says this way! We are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony but do have an indoor spot also.
I did it, I peaked. I just couldn't help it! 65 and mostly sunny all week. Our wedding is indoors, but we really wanted some nice photos with the mountains. Considering it's been SNOWING here all week, I couldn't be more thrilled. Now, let's just keep those fingers crossed that the snow melts and the mud dries up before next weekend...
sunny, 80 degrees, 0% chance of rain. yay! can you ladies believe it's only 8 days away?!?
The day of my wedding... 60% chance of rain :(. However, I just know it will be sunny during my ceremony & reception (its only 3 hours our of the day).
68 degrees and party cloudy in Rockport, Mass. for Saturday.
I only wish for sun for my photos - but other than that, I think rainy days are cozy. I really don't care what the weather is. I would love to have romantic wedding pics on the water, but if not, that's how it goes...
I know 8 days!!! Soooo exciting!!! I cant wait :) Anyone still have things to do? I finally finished yesterday!
It says I have a 60% chance of rain
. My wedding is at our church, with a hotel reception but STILL! How am I going to keep the bottom of my dress from being soaked? Hopefully it changes!

The ten-day forecast is out......how does your weather look for your wedding day??!?!?!
We're getting married on the beach on Cape Cod so weather is important to us (we have a back-up plan but will be disapointing to have to follow it). I know it's far out but our forecast reads a high of almost 70 degrees with clouds in the morning and sun late afternoon (our wedding is at 5pm).
