so we sent out invites begining of march, and rsvp is due April 15... that's next week!

and so far only 12 people have responded out of 54 invites sent. 6 people from the bridal party haven't responded, but of course they are going. so let's up that 11 to 17 responses. but everyone else is lagging! anyone else have this problem? my mom has talked to a lot of people that all say they're going... but they haven't responded. and all my friends say they can't wait either, but they haven't responded. it's driving me crazy because my mom is saying to just put certain people down to be going... and i don't have their response back! the response cards have an area to put their dietary needs so I can tell our place what food they don't eat. and i don't want to put anyone down as going without their response back because it's $140 bux a person for dinner.

There's people that have booked hotels that haven't responded back.

this is driving me insane!!! checking the mailbox every day and there's no rsvp!

i feel you, I hav mine for May1st and I have had like 15 cards back out of 65 but still, I have people saying, I cant wait.. or my fmil says well you know we are coming.. Yeah great but if I sent out a formal invite with a response card, then send it back. Its just proper. Plus I spend $1 in postage per invite lol. Every penny matters here people!

I am going through a lot of the same thing!  I sent my invites at the end of Feb with an RSVP date of May 1.  So far I have 73 accepts, 26 declines and 72 that have yet to respond!  I also have people on my list that have booked hotel rooms, but have yet to respond!  Driving me nuts too!  My mom actually jsut talked to one of the guests that hasnt responded yet, and she said she is pretty sure she is coming so my mom said ok great I'll let her know, and the women replied "Oh, well I have until May 1 to officially decide"  .uuggh

I know the feeling. We sent ours out in January and are due back april 28. I am still waiting on 25 more rsvp's. Next week is going to be "fun" spending my free time calling all these people who think i don't have enough to do already working full time, planning a wedding and renovating a house! Grrr!

My RSVP deadline is Friday and I'm getting really anxious!  We still have 38 guests (not the physical envelopes) who have not RSVPed!  I really don't want to call 15 or so families!

the rsvps have stopped coming in. we invited 90 people, and 74 people have said that they are coming which is perfect because we aimed for 75 people! we were really hoping 15 people wouldn't be able to make it. turned out well. now if the people that didn't rsvp yes or no show up... they can sit in their own corner!!

Will it be rude if I dont call those who havent rsvp'd. What if they show up to the wedding.. will it be rude to not have a dinner plate for them.. THEY HAD A MONTH AND HALF TO RSVP!!! I can save a little money here. I have 8 invites of people who havent rsvpd.

Our deadline is Friday and we are still waiting on approx. 20 responses! 1 is the best man, 2 are groomsmen and 1 is an aunt. We know they are all coming but we need to know what they want to eat! I have to submit a final count and final entree count as well. I don't know what it is with these late responses but it's driving me crazy.

Seriously none of my FI's family has responded, uncles, aunts, grand parents, my response date was April 20th + I have about 15 other people I still haven't heard from. I guess tomorrow is when I'll start making phone calls. Since I have to give the head count tomorrow evening...(procrastinator right here)

UGH - I sympathize with you.

It seems people get pretty stupid when it comes to RSVPs.  Good luck!

I think the most annoying part that I have been experiencing is when I sent out invites and response cards to people and then their reply comes in on another person's response card. Has anyone else had this happen? I have had two so far. So two response cards are just wasted sitting in the dumpster somewhere because they didnt want to fill them out so they had another family member do it for them. Uhh some people.
