I’m May 5th, so we have 125 days and counting! eep! I’m drinking 8-8oz glasses a day, just started the philosophy Miracle Worker skincare routine and I’ve figured out what clarisonic routine works for me-so no more breakouts! In Feb. I’m going to start tanning 2x a week. I’m getting a facial on Friday and plan to get one every month until the wedding, AND I’m getting a weekly massage to help combat the stress.
Gonna look my best!
What are you guys doing?

I am going to start after the super bowl for my May 26th wedding. I am starting off simple at first making sure I drink my 8 glasses of water and I am starting workingout 3 days a week. I already have a simple skin program but I am getting Skinceuticals retexturing activator which I have used in the past with great results! I plan to get a deep cleaning facial a month before the wedding so my pores are clear but no chance of a break out effecting the wedding day(my skin us super sensitive). Also I am making sure I use my sunscreen twice a day everyday so I do not get a sun burn.

@MissFireFlower: I have started to tan to get my base tan down that way i dont set i in too quick and get that fake look. Also drinking plenty of water but haven’t used any skin care products yet. I’m always leary of trying new things scared to break out from it or something.

I’m drinking massive amounts of water and green tea. Also, I’m sleeping with Ponds cold cream on my face. My grandmother swears by the stuff, and at 70, she has the nicest skin in the family!

I’ve been watching what I eat & drink hardcore for the past two weeks already. I’m start tanning March 1, doing teeth whitening in March or April. I’m also going to get my hair done a lot more right now to keep the color nice.
I have horrible skin, so I’m unsure of what I’m going to do there. I thought about trying facials but it’s not really in my budget.

@MissFireFlower: a WEEKLY massage?? lucky!!! I feel you on the stress…
I’ve got some anitbiotics to clear up my face and backne… I already see its helping alot, after that try something for the scarring.
Need to eat clean and workout (trying for at least mild activity every day)… focusing on my back because my dress has a large keyhole. I’m a bit underweight so I’m actually trying to gain weight. I forget to eat often so I’ve made myself a goal to eat breakfast and lunch every single day.
Definitely need to keep up with drinking water, taking vitamins and SLEEP! I’ve set myself a bedtime for 10:00, get up at 6:30.
Thinking about dying my hair, finding a hair piece for an updo, deep conditioning it and generally taking good care.
For all you ladies, there’s a great iPhone app called “lift” that you can check in with yourself to build habits… I’ve mentioned a bunch of mine here. Its great to keep yourself accountable.

Any routines working well?

I am May 11 🙂
I have the worlds MOST sensitive skin, so annoying. For years I could only wash with water.
I have been using Kate Somerville products, and it has yet to irritate my skin.
Do any of you have super oily skin? I look like an oil slick 2 hours after I put my makeup on. Tips?
Also..anyone else with super sensitive skin? I want to start doing facials but am super nervous about a bad potential outcome!!

Going to start tanning as well for the slow tan.

It’s been a month and my skin is so happy! I love the miracle philosophy line. It’s helped my skin so much. I also found the best face wash to use with my Clarisonic-it’s an all-natural wash from trader joe’s with tea tree oil.
I’m getting a mud facial again in friday and the weekly massages are so great. I might get a body wrap done too in April.

@MissFireFlower: Yayyy! Isn’t time just flying?!!
I’ve been doing monthly facials and massages too but, got a pretty bad reaction on my upper lip after the lady waxed it (first time ever). So, I got super scared and canceled my March facial appointment. The next one is April 6th and will need to tell her, no wax.
I’m also doing the water….water….and more water. It is working absolute wonders on my skin!!

May 11th bride here! I started Weight Watchers about a month and a half ago, trying to lose 15-20lbs before the big day. I’m down about 7 already, yay! I’m also drinking a ton of water and using my Clarisonic. My bridal shower is in two weeks, so I’ll be whitening my teeth before then and I’m getting my last haircut before the wedding this week. I can’t believe it’s going to be here so soon!
