I am looking for som inspiration for a wedding band. I want it ti fit with my Ering so I am getting a custom band. I want to have a fun design on the band, rather than diamonds. Therefore, i am looking for some inspiration so I can get a sketch to show the jeweler. Any help would be much appreciated!
@JamieL17: Would you recommend luxury bazaar? I have never heard of it before, but I just found an amazing band! Your ring looks exactly like the picture, very pretty!
JamieL17: My wedding band is a little on the wider side and I was worried that it, plus my e-ring would push close to my knuckle and feel kinda of "off".....do you have that problem? I see on your pic that your set is quite wide and I am anticipating the same thing. Thanks !

My wedding band is not fancy, so I'm afraid most people won't be impressed... but it means the world to me. Upon my engagement I was gifted with my late grandmother's wedding rings.
I'll be wearing them both on my left ring finger (they'll stay together and represent my wedding band) with the engagement ring my fiance gave me on top. Just as she vowed to my grandfather, my grandmother wore them 'til death parted them. These rings are full of love, family, and meaning. <3
FI's picking up my custom band tomorrow, will post pictures when I can!
I had a plain white gold band custom-made, since the setting on my e-ring is kind of an unusual shape.
@Amaryllis: I actually didn't buy my ring from there, it was the only pic I could find :) We got it on clearance from Ostermans for $400 (and it's 1/2 carat, woot woot! Find of the year for us!)
@Soon to be Mrs: it's funny because the one suggestion I had to my FI when he was ring shopping was that I wanted a thin, delicate band, and he obviously did not go with that, haha... but I wouldn't change a thing because my ring feels really solid and strong so I worry less about smacking it. I was initially concerned about finding a wedding band that didn't take up too much of my finger, but these two together really don't bother me at all. I still feel like I have plenty of finger room :) So I think once you try some on with with your e-ring you will realize it's not as bad as you'd think.
I picked up my custom wedding band today! Here it is!
My ring was really hard to match a band too because of a peekaboo diamond on either side that stuck out. So I had to get a temporary band that was three marquis allowing room for the peekaboo diamond. And for my 1 year anniversay I had a custom band done to match. I loved the saphires in my temporary band so had them include it in my custom band.

Some pics I took of the new band. I now have them soddered together and wear the temporary when I want just a simple band on. It took me a bit to get used to mine with the sapphire marquise next to my center stone but I love it now. I am very Victorian at heart so wanted a vintage feel. It was also scary because I was not able to have a photo or drawing markup of what the jeweler was going to make as it was very hard to fit it. Not only did it have the peekaboo diamond but it tapered as well. But it turned out great!
He was even able to match the side of my ring which I loved and hated covering up.
@maraschino: omg are you kidding?!?! I'm in LOVE with your set! <3 I love vintage or vintage-style and I've never ever seen a set with the kind of detail this one has, I just love it!
@rachiecakes: AW thank you so much!!!! =] There are so many crazy gorgeous blingy rings posted here on a regular basis that I wouldn't expect anyone to think much of my little family heirlooms... so it's really nice when someone else can see the beauty and small details in them that I see. <3

@maraschino: I love your set!! To me, there is nothing more special than family heirloom jewelry, especially wedding rings!! I am envious of anyone who has something like that in their family, because I don't. I went pretty simple with my wedding set but I LOVE a vintage look! You should wear them proudly! <3

Sorry the picture is so big. I actually thought I was going to have a hard time finding a band to match my E-ring but I think this matches perfect and I love it.

Thanks FallBzz! My e-ring setting is from Eternity Diamonds and the center stone from Good Old Gold. My wedding band is from ID Jewelry.

@miss11.11.11: Thank you! I looked long and hard for something a little different that would go with my e-ring, which is an emerald cut with a baguette on either side. This one worked perfectly and I also love the baguettes set on an angle. :)

This matches my engagement ring band, I love them! I think they are so unique and feminine. They look so dainty and a little antique to me, which is exactly what i had in mine
