you can buy it at any crafy store, and it actually comes in a roller so they are super easy to use, they are called glue dots and they are in the scrap booking section! used them for my invites and napkins!

But can they be removed just like the stuff in the mail? I want to use then to attach two pieces of paper together but I want guests to be able to open it up and reattach it.
Glue dots have varying degrees of stickyness. Read the labels carefully and you'll find the one that works for you. The ones that FH and I bought for our invites were fairly sticky but you could remove it if you wanted to.
they do have one's that are labeled as removable, the packaging is a different color.. but yes, they do make that...
yup glue dots.. I was actually just talking last night to one of my friends and she commented on the glue dot- we did pocket fold invitations so we used a glue dot to keep them closed. We mailed out the invites just about a month ago and she said even after all the opening and closing the glue dot is still sticking. These are the ones we used... though a dispenser would have been REALLY helpful!

The stuff they use on mailings is usually rubber cement, its easily removed and its like squishy and peels off.

You know those pieces to sticky stuff that come on the back of a credit card when it's sent in the mail? Can you buy that stuff somewhere? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
