You could do a coffee bar with all the McD's special flavors they put in coffees. Or those little apple pies as a dessert.
I'm not sure the timing of your event but some late night salty snacks are always yummy! Maybe have fries, nuggets and/or shakes for the ride home/to the after party?
It's a great idea to incorporate something that's such a part of your life, sounds like fun!
I think you should try to have an after hours meal with cheeseburgers, fries and nuggets! Oh, and milkshakes for dessert maybe? With the classic McDonald's straws, yum.
I totally agree. Late in the evening when people are on the dance floor it would be amazing if you brought out some nuggets and fries.
Yay I'm so glad you all think its a good idea! Some of my family members think its a bad idea...they're just snobs! Haha I think If I was at a wedding and I got to go home with some McDonald's food after a late night of drinking and dancing I would be a happy girl!

I would be so thrilled to get some fries and a milkshake at a wedding! I don't eat meat but I'm sure lots of people will be crazy happy when they see burgers and nuggets there too. Especially if they've been drinking, that's exactly how you want to end the night! I'm kinda jealous of your guests! lol :)
I like virginiamarie's suggestion. Maybe send your guests away at the end of the night with a happy meal or just place your favors in a happy meal box. Also, if your having children maybe that can be their main meal including a toy. :o)
I'd use the boxes from the chicken nuggets/strips for favor boxes, and put something other than chicken in them! Cute! And Happy Meal toys for the kids at the reception?
Yes there will be maybe 10 or 11 kids so they would enjoy it the most!
What about those little gift certs. they have at Halloween? You could give them out, and then when it's time to leave everyone could go get an ice cream cone or something after the wedding... McDonalds after party!

You could use the kid's size fry bags for small candy favors.
Serving french fries towards the end of the dancing is a great idea - a coffee bar set up then, would be great for folks driving home, too.
Are you doing OOT bags? Using the happy meal boxes for OOT containers is a cute idea, too.
If you're having a lot of kids, have someone dressed as Ronald McDonald come by and do balloon animals.
Hello. I'm new to the site. In case you didn't know, McDonalds in HK is offering McWeddings! So I don't think having McD cater is THAT bad if that is what you guys want! I read somewhere that they have applie pie wedding "cakes". I'm not kidding!
Great idea! Everyone would appreciate the late night snacks, especially since McD's has personal meaning to you. After partying, most people prefer substantial food as opposed to sweets. The coffees are a great idea too.

Oh my god, how much would I love a snack of McDonald's french fries after a night of dancing and drinking? With some cheese burgers and nuggets, that would be perfect. And maybe some trays of fruit for the health conscious people.

So my FI and his family and a lot of our friends work for McDonalds my FI supervises 5 stores (hopefully an ower one day) and his dad is the area director. So needless to say our lives revolve around McDonalds! So I thought it would be cute to incorporate McDonalds into our wedding somehow...maybe favors? At first I wanted to have McDonalds Cater the whole thing kind of as a joke but of course that was shot down by EVERYONE (which I expected) but I want our wedding to be fun and light hearted! So maybe happy meal favors? 4 piece nuggets? Haha any cute ideas on how to incorporate the golden arch in our wedding?
