That's really tough. Have you made the reservations and done lots of planning for Oct 10?
Are you going to pick another friend to be a BM or just have your MOH?
Can you talk to her about being a big support to you in the days and months leading up to the wedding? Honestly on the actual wedding day you'll be so surrounded by lots of people, it's a big loss but maybe you can even arrange phone conversations the morning of so she can still be there in spirit.
The really sucks that she can't come. My best friend wasn't able to come to my wedding either and I ended up having my SIL as my only bridesmaid. Just remember that she still is your best friend even though she can't be there.
No, we havent made any payments on anything for this date, but my FI and I really want 10/10/10. He picked it, he is really proud of that, and its on a Sunday so we can get a few discounts that way. If she doesn't come I will just have my MOH. I have my two best friends, and then all of my other friends are kinda equal you know.

So after some MIL drama last night my best friend and my bridesmaid (I have a MOH and my other best friend as a bridesmaid) told me her cousin has the same date as us, and she is in her wedding. I am so upset, I want so badly for her to come but I also love our date, and we really don't want to change.
I don't know what to do. I love this girl, she would be a HUGE support to me for the wedding and she knows how to keep me relaxed. I guess I just have to accept she can't come.
