So when my husband was proposing to me, he was on his knee holding the ring box, and I got impatient (there was no surprise, I knew it was coming…well, I knew the day it was happening, I didn’t know the ring, the how or the where or anything) and interrupted him to say “Put it on already!” (Classy, I know). Anyway, he was apparently confused because he thought I was supposed to put the ring on my own finger.
Now I don’t know what usually happens during proposals, save what I’ve seen on TV and in movies, since my own was the only one I’ve been party to (until a few weeks ago, when Darling Husband and I were at Sing Sing, a dueling piano bar in Pittsburgh, and a guy got his gf on stage and proposed to her. Muy sweet).
Anyway, he put the ring on me, because that was the way I presumed it was supposed to go.
So fast forward to five minutes ago, when he comes in and makes me watch this video on youtube…(not to spoil the ending, but he wanted me to see the part where she puts the ring on herself).
Ending ramble, I wanted to share this video because it’s, well, mean, and for all the time I’m sure all of us here had thought about our perfect proposal, I don’t imagine this would ever have occurred to any of us.
Happy Saturday, and enjoy!

Oh poor girl. I would’ve said “no”. or at least made him do it again, romantically.
…she kinda of bugged me, lol.

Thats funny! Totally screwed up on his part, but funny still.

@His Lil SantosGirl: She TOTALLY bugged me too!

lol they pull pranks on each other all the time. Check out their channel!
BTW-I love SIng Sing! We are thinking of having our engagement party there!

Since it seems like pranks are their thing I think it was actually a very fitting proposal for them, even if it did suck a little to have the green goop all over her, lol.
I thought it was kinda sweet.

wow, i’m kinda speechless here. its great that their proposal matchs them and that they obviously loves each other and all (albeit in a funny way), but if that EVER happened to me i would probably just freak out…. in a bad way.

Sorry. That was too obviously fake. Weird but fake. Why did she run to the closet only to be in the EXACT tight spot to get the “goo” on her? And her freakout seemed totaly staged. And the way she reacted when he actually proposed seemed way too rehearsed.

I would have reacted that way too if I got gooed all over! I bet it went in all her shoes, on her clothes, all through the carpet. Did he even think about food colouring and the carpet?
Geez, they have their own prank channel…

@kfricke89: I think it was fake. It was a reenactment of what happened. He stated that he originally couldn’t get the bucket mechanism to work properly so he actually waited in the closet and did it manually.

Well, I’d be completely, utterly livid, but if they prank each other all the time, it seems befitting. I like how he says, “it’s a real diamond!” lol

I’ve seen that before, and read somewhere that that couple makes videos like that as part of a media campaign (probably trying to get a foot in the media world) and that their videos are all staged, scripted and fake.

Wow. That was some TERRIBLE acting!
