- Wedding: May 2012
We”’ be having a destination wedding. At first, my boss was hesitant to release me for 2 weeks (10 business days), and she only approved me for 5 days off, however HR talked it out and she gave me green light to go for 2 weeks.
Now since we’ll be getting married, I thought it’s appropriate for me to send her the invitation because i also gave invitations my other boss. Today, my boss told me that she might think about coming to our wedding, but it might be difficult since it’s a destination wedding. Plus, ticket is already way too expensive (we’re getting married next month in Asia and we’re in US).
I mentioned it to Dear Fiance, and he’s so apprehensive if my boss would show up since we actually don’t get along, other than work stuffs. Now, what should i say if she suddenly said yes, though the chance is very slim.
Note: the wedding venue is so small that it can only accomodate 50 people. I know it’s my fault to invite her, but then I don’t want to left her out. By giving the invitation, she actually now understands why I need 2 weeks off.
