@Ladybug202:  I’d say it means they have one (new) to sell you. I’d ask to be sure though.

To @Ladybug202:  First and foremost, I see you are NEW to WBee… so a BIG Welcome to “the Hive”

In Stock typically means that it is available for sale… definitely so if you are talking about an On-Line Store / Boutique that you would order from, and they’d ship out to you.

I would take that to AlWAYS mean a NEW item unless otherwise specified (Floor Demo etc)

NOW if you are talking a Website for a Store where you are researching what they have “in stock” in their showroom… well that could be a totally different thing / meaning.  In which case I’d probably call them and ask…

You probably have to book a Gown Appointment anyhow.

Hope this helps,

I work at a bridal store and when we say we have a dress in stock it means we have a brand new dress in the back. It is usually a dress someone ordered and then cancelled. We also can check with certain designers and see if a dress is in stock with the designer, meaning that they already have the dress made in the size you need and it can be shipped to the store asap. When you order a dress usually we call the designer and they start your dress which takes 3 to 6 months usually, but if they have it on stock you can usually get it in under a month. When girls are suprised that their dress has come in so quickly it is usually that the designer had the dress in stock so just shipped it over.

@Mrs_Harmer_to_be:  This must have been what happened with my dress. I was told by my consultant that the store did not have a new gown in stock but they would order one for me and it would take until June before it arrived. This was in January. The dress arrived 7-9 days later. So of course I was shocked and thought they sold me a sample gown even though I ordered it brand new. It looks brand new…I was just surprised at the speed of delivery.
