I’m frantically googling to make sure I’m all set (mentally at least; still have packing to do) for our trip to Canada this weekend! I’m so looking forward to it! Especially the parts where I: take a bunch of liquids through security because I have to; keep an infant happy for a 4.5 hour flight; adjust to a 3-hour time difference; take another flight to a different Canadian city; and then enjoy a full 8-hour travel day back home a week later! WHAT COULD GO WRONG?!??!? 😀

Jennybee224:  pretty much. My grandparents’ health is failing and they’ve never met either of their great-grandchildren. So my sister and I are making the pilgrimage with our wee ones in tow. It sucks to make the trip, but they will be SO HAPPY to meet the girls. We would never forgive ourselves if they died without ever meeting the kiddos 🙁

I just arrived at a conference for work … it’s like the smallest conference I’ve ever seen. The hotel isn’t in walking distance of, like, anything. So now I’m sitting in my hotel room until the Opening Reception which promises to be 0 fun. I want ALL of the fun. Is that so much to ask?

Jennybee224:  thanks! I figure if I build it up to be a huge disaster in my mind, then if it actually is only like 20% of a disaster, I will be pleasantly surprised 🙂

Boring day, but we’re looking at condos/townhouses tonight! Yay! FI’s parents are coming though, and I like them, but they are very picky and opinionated. Boo!

kaylee26:  my daughter is 6 months, and niece is almost 18 months. LOL I think my sister is going to be struggling worse than me, to be honest. At least my kid won’t be trying to run all over the plane when she’s supposed to be in her seat!
