I don't believe in it, but I have been to so many weddings where the people do so I have seen mechitzas that look like the Berlin wall to very unobstrusive. My favorite was when they used fake/real potted trees and ribbon, but you need to know your guests and if this will be enough.

We are going to put up some sort of mechitza for our early dances out of respect for all the religious guests and then take it down after dessert so we can have mixed dancing.
Anyone else do this? What did you use? We don't want anything too obstructive.
