I purchased the Target brand of Mederma for that very purpose (I didn't want to pay full price for Mederma and the ingredients were basically the same). Unfortunately, it did not do anything for my skin. I, however, only applied it twice a day. Also, my scars are relatively old. I think that Mederma works best for newer, fresher scars. I have heard good things about the Olay Microdermabrasin Peel Kit and acne scars (that is next on my list to try).

How many of you have used Mederma and what was your experience. I just bought some today for some hyperpigmentation from acne and hope it will fade my spots in time. It's a little daunting that you have to apply it three times a day and its kind of costly, but eh if it really works it will be so worth it!
Anybody have some experience with it?
