Here are mine. i was never given an option for density, so im going to assume theyre both “light”. The dress has stacks of beads instead of a continuous beaded pattern. I personally think it cheapens the look of the dress but i understand that it gives the same effect while cutting down on production costs which passes on the savings to me (and i am ok with saving some money!). The veil was done with lines of beads over embroidery. IT WAS BASICALLY EXACTLY WHAT i asked for and i am happy with it. I had them include extra loose beads so i can add some myself if i want

I ordered before the end of the year (and right before I know they made some other policy changes) and they never diferentiated to me a cost increase for “heavy” beading or anything. My dress is supposed to have beading lightingly scattered all over it from top to bottom. When they sent me a mid-production photo showing the beading sample it was really tight… meaning a fully, heavily beaded dress. I told them to go back and make it like my sample pictures I sent to them- not like that. So they were evidently thinking it would be solid/heavy beading (even though I told the consultant when I ordered that was not the case and sent a photo). Again, they never mentioned a price difference in various amounts of beading so maybe this is one of the new policy changes.

I can share some beading samples with you, though. These are the beads they sent me to look at. The bottom right glass bead is sort of a teardrop shape with the hole in the top. The one next to it is a rhinestone that is flat on back so it will sit flush with the fabric. The white tube (bottom row, third from right) is like 6 sided, I think? These are all very dainty beads.

I just wanted my beading mixed up and lightly scattered all over the dress. I chose all of the beads except the glass one which I didn’t feel like was very noticeable to make a difference.

This pic below is one of the mid-production pics they sent me so you can see they were making the beading way too closely together. That would’ve ended in a basically fully beaded gown. So they’re going to rectify that. 🙂 I feel the quality of the beads is really nice and they were very pretty in person!

Hi there, your case was due to the beading team misunderstood my instructions in the work order 🙁 I guess simply telling them to bead according to the sample you have given wasn’t clear enough, they beaded a sample for you according to the original dress’ density, not the density of YOUR sample 🙁 This was the first time a customer gave a beading sample with beading not sewn in place, so they thought it was just materials selection, not beading density and pattern design. I guess it is a lesson learned for me that I really need to over communicate for this kind of unique situations in the future.

Also production team updated that because they were not crystal clear about how to bead the dress for you – even though you have provided a sample, that is why they beaded a sample for you to confirm 🙂

Larik: No, it’s still being made but I’m not in a rush as we pushed our wedding date back a bit.

JasmineBridalShop: No worries! I just felt bad because the beading person thought it was all beaded. Wow, that would be a lot of work for them! ha ha My dress won’t be THAT bad! Ha ha! I am very happy so far. 🙂

blueblueskies: Thanks for asking! 🙂 It’s going good, I think. The last time I saw the full dress it still had things that needed worked on. Since then they have only sent close ups of beading. The beading spacing is now correct so right now they are working on fully beading the dress at which point they’ll send more photos. I asked if the other corrections had been done (length of train, etc.) and was told it will all be done so I assume next set of photos I receive will be completed dress. I can’t wait!

I wasn’t given an option at the time that I ordered. I ordered two dresses with beading on them. Here’s what I ended up with:

Dress #1:

Side-by-side comparison: Real dress on the left, Jasmine’s dress on the right.

Dress #2:

Side-by-side comparison: real dress on top, Jasmine’s dress on the bottom

Hope that helps!

iamsherlocked: Yours were exact replicas, correct? Maybe that’s why they didn’t ask, becuase they were just reproducing the finished product. Yours are stunning- both turned out so perfect!

I wasn’t actually specifically asked about heavy or moderate beading but when they saw what I was looking for, I was just given a price quote. It did cross my mind that since they originally thought my dress was going to be more heavily beaded (they must have since the first beading sample they send me was completely beaded), if they priced it out accordingly and since my dress won’t be completely covered in beading if the price should be less than what I am paying. I hope that is easy to understand. There IS beading from head to toe on my dress but it’s going to be spaced out more instead of a completely beaded gown where you can’t even see the fabric through.

They have been wonderful to work with so far, though. They even went back and forth with me on the beading sample a few times to make sure they had it spaced out exactly how I wanted it. I appreciate them going back and forth to make sure it’s perfect! 🙂

beetobe624: Yeah, I just marked everything to be made “as pictured”…I think they may have started differentiating levels of beading after we ordered though? Either way I’m more than happy with what I got! 🙂

Thought I’d update with pics of my almost finished dress. Just a few changes I want them to make, I think, but you can see how pretty the beading turned out. 🙂
