Yay :). She's adorable!! I love when people rescue dogs too. Its a wonder all the great & amazing dogs that "nobody wanted", yet they're the best family members!!

Thanks everyone! We start obedience classes tonight, so wish us luck :) They think she is around 1. She is very attentive and makes great eye contact, so hopefully training will be easy for her! She also worships treats & will pretty much do anything for one!
Congrats, Quiche! Our dog is a "Foster Failure" too....glad to see I'm not the only one who couldn't give ours up!
Training class update: Soooo...needless to say, Derby was more than a little distracted during obedience class last night :) There were so many dogs and puppies there, so I wasn't that suprised! Our homework is 20 "sits" every morning and 20 "sit, watch, STAY" at night before eating. She was perfect this morning!
It will be a lot of work, but we are determined to make it work!

We've been fostering this sweet girl for a few weeks & recently adopted her for good! We can't resist this adorable face
She was a stray found at a high-kill shelter in Kentucky, made it to Chicago by way of a great rescue organization, and into our home. We named her Derby & love her to pieces (even when she sheds all over the place!).
