I’m pretty excited about this new college board 🙂 I know I meet other college Bees here but now we can all introduce ourselves in one place 🙂
So, about me… I’m currently in my second year of college, I’ll be graduating a semester early. I actually took a year off so I’m 20, almost 21. I’m majoring in history and poli sci, and I have no idea what I’ll be doing after college yet 😉 I work part time in retail as well.
I will have a year and a half left to complete as of my wedding date, and Fiance and I have no idea where we’ll end up after that. He’s currently in school to be a paramedic but will graduate in May.
So, what about you?

Nice to meet you! 🙂 It’s so nice to meet other people that take off time from school. Maybe it’s just because I was raised that you have to go to college right after high school, no breaks allowed.
I’m about 1.5 yrs into my college degree. I want to get my associates before going away to school but will be trying to major in English and minoring in psychology and creative writing. I really want to work on getting published, and keep doing open mics (I write poetry). I really also hope to enspire high schooler kids to love literature as much as I do!
Darling Husband and I have ony been married a few weeks so as soon as I finish my assocaites we are going to try to go to school together (majoring in similar degrees). I’m pretty excited to go back to school, but I just want to be done.

Well hello! 🙂
I am in my 3rd year of college. I am 20 right now and won’t be 21 till less than a month before my wedding date. I am an early education major, and since Ohio’s schools system is slowly going down the drain I have no idea what I am going to do after I get my degree.
My Fiance i works in a machine shop and his family owns a lumber yard so we will have to stay around my hometown (which is perfectly okay with me I LOVE my family). I have 2 years left in school after we get married so hopefully everything works out. I am so ready to just get out of school and teach. I am so ready to get a REAL job!!

Is this new today? Pretty exciting!
I’m about to run out to one of my last class of the semester (well, it’s rehearsal, the last one is just business time but whatever…)
I’m 23 Fridays away from Graduating!
I’ll be getting a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Museum Studies. I’m in the process of applying for grad school in museum studies or American Material Culture. I’m hoping I will be accepted for the material culture program but it’s extremely competitive and it seems usually the class is ~80% Ivies. Ideally, I’d love to work as registrar/in collections management at a history museum- or at the Army history center in DC but I’m looking for training that I serve in almost any capacity since the job market is horrible for museum professionals.
Darling Husband and I have married 4 months and 2 days (we had our 4th piece of cake last night). He stuck around after he left grad school two years ago so we can be in the same town while I finish my BA. It’s great having the same alma mater, so we know the same traditions and have the same team loyalty (even if we’re divided about when we want RGIII to get the Heisman).

Yayyyyy! So happy to meet you all.
I’m a senior this year, finally FINALLY graduating in May 2012. I’m graduating on time, but it feels like it’s been way longer than 4 years haha. I created my own degree for event planning, but all of my 9 internships have been in social media and digital PR. 🙂

I am in my 3rd year of university. I’m 22 – I took a year off to work in an entomology position. I will not be finished until after the wedding. I’m studying chemistry and I hope to continue on to Pharmacy!

I’m 23, and starting my second year as an elementary education major. I had a late start on college due to some life happenings, but the important thing is that I’m going now 🙂 I’ve also given serious though to switching over to English education or journalism- but I say that with everything! I cannot make up my mind.

Don’t feel bad about taking time off, I’m 28 and I’m just finishing my associates this month. I just received a full scholarship for my next two years of school. I’m also an education major.

I’m in a mad dash to the end of the education tunnel. I have AA in Russian, another associates in communications technologies and I’m 3 classes away from finishing my BS in Liberal Studies with focuses in Russian and Communication. I’m 24 and won’t be finishing till after I turn 25. Which kind of sucks. Back in high school I wanted to be done with school by the time I was 22, but unfortunately life is unpredictable and I’ve had to work full time since I turned 18. Kinda puts a damper on your ability to get schooling done. 🙂
I suppose the silver lining is that I managed to get into my career field without a degree 4 years ago and the degree will basically just guarantee future employment.

I am a 3rd year college student. I am 19. I have my Associates in general education and am currently working on my bachelors of science in psychology and sociology. After I graduate I want to get my masters and maybe Phd in psychology. I hope to work as a forensic or criminal psychologist one day. I’m seriously thinking of taking a break in between my undergrad and grad schooling because I feel like I have been going non stop for the past two years.

I graduated HS in 09′ and I’ll have a BA in Business Management in December of 2012. (3.5 years) I’ll be two months shy of my 22nd birthday when I graduate (& marry!). I want to eventually get my MBA. After I graduate I want to figure out exactly where in business I want to go and gain some work experience beyond what I have now.
