So exciting!
I'd ask to see examples of her past work, and if you really like her, see if she'd be open to touring your reception site with you. Ours did this, and it helped make my inspiration for centerpieces come to life for her.
Good luck! (And, I gotta add, your wedding date is pretty awesome.)
Oh, that's a fantastic idea about having them go to the venue! Thanks for that, I'll be sure to ask.
(heehee, and I love the wedding date number, too! So happy someone noticed it!)
I was lucky because the person that's doing my flowers has done weddings at the same site I'm getting married at. I told her exactly what I wanted from pictures I cut out from magazines and she took those designs to make me a sample centerpiece I could critique an let her know what I liked and what I didn't. Ask her what flowers are in season. Because those can significantly decrease the cost of your flowers. I wish that I would have considered Costco because I saw BEAUTIFUL centerpieces for $20!!!

I'm meeting with my first potential florist today - any tips or questions I should specifically ask? I'm taking my computer with me that has all of my floral inspiration. Your help is appreciated!!
