All I really asked was about the packages that they offered and the specifics with costs.  Also, look at the photographer’s portfolios (preferrably an entire wedding, not just the best pictures from all weddings on their website).

Make sure that they include that you get the “rights” to all of your photos once they have photographed your big day. Some photographers tend to charge you additional fees to own the pictures of yourself.


Also, ask about the camera equipment and then on your own, do a quick google search to make sure that it is reputable equipment. Find out their style of photography…. some photographers are very traditional and do a lot of posed pictures (prom poses as I like to think of it). Some are photojournalists and they capture more candid photos or have unique ways of taking your picture!!


Good luck and make sure you do research and possibly ask for a list of references of previous couples.
