Do you already know the details of what she is covering on your day? Have you received a rough timeline? Look through the timeline to see what she has and if you see anything missing you can ask about it.
@jackie-o - I haven't received a timeline yet. My DOC is actually a good friend of mine. She's just starting out in the wedding planning business, so I'm one of her first weddings. She hasn't given me a rough timeline yet, I think that's what we're going over tomorrow. However, she did mention for sure she'd be in charge of vendor communication, the wedding rehearsal organization, etc. I guess I'll find out more tomorrow, I just wondered if there were any questions in particular I should be prepared to ask her. Thank you!
@nurselindsey: got it. For me it would be hard to ask questions without having any material from her. Have the appt review all the details she has, then come back to usk and maybe ask whats missing. Be sure her job covers all set up AND strike (aka take down.) Timeline is super important for me because I am a gal who has no concept of time, LOL - - - Cover the below timelines and be sure ALL vendors have copies of the timelines.

Thanks for all the suggestions!! It went really well :) We covered a lot of ground and got several things organized! I feel much better. It made me realize how much I have left to do! lol I think she's going to be really great and help make our wedding day go smoothly!

Tomorrow is my first real meeting with my Day of Coordinator and I'm wondering what are the types of questions I need to be asking her? She says she has several questions for me such as vendor info, etc but I'm sure there are things I need to be asking her as well. I'm trying to be as organized as possible and prepared!
