Hey there! I'm sort of new to this site and haven't heard much about meet ups. But I'm always down for a happy hour or sushi (tell me you like sushi)? I'm about a 30 minute drive from Columbia, let me know if you ever want to meet up.

I'd be down with a meetup! I'm 28, been married for a year (yikes, time flies!), and moved to Baltimore ~3 months ago. I live near a lot of bars and restaurants, so I can suggest a few meeting places if you wanted to meet in the city.
ETA- I just realized this threat is 6 months old. Don't know if a meetup ever took place, but even if it did, we should have another one!
Hey hey! I don't think a meet up every happened but it should! I'm in Mt. Vernon. Tons of bars and restaurants near me too. Let's do this. :) I'm 25. I'm going out of town until May 9. But definitely count me in after that.

Why don't we shoot for the end of May or beginning of June? Let's see where everyone stands. What day works best? Saturdays or Sundays? Should we shoot for drinks or dinner somewhere?
I'm free the last two Sunday in May 20th and 27th. Or Saturday, May 26th. I'm also free the second weekend of June. Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th. I'm totally up for dinner and drinks.

If you ladies would like, you can PM me your e-mail addresses and I will send out a Doodle poll to find out what weekend is convenient for most of us. Also, feel free to give any other suggestions for bars/restaurants. I recently went to Teavolve and thought it was delicious, reasonably priced and cute, but I'm definitely open to other suggestions. I'm still new to town and working on eating my way around. ;)

Looks like Sunday, July 22 works for most of us (I'm sorry @SincerelyShe). Spread the word if you know of other bees that are interested. As of right now, there will be 9 of us. I'll wait until closer to the date to make the reservation and get a more accurate head count. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all!

So, I had no idea that meetups were going on in Baltimore. I always saw them pop up periodically but in places like LA, which really doesn't help me. :) I was wondering if there was anything going on for another one in the next month? Just noticed I missed the one in September.
I live in Columbia and it's been insanely difficult to make friends around here. I'm 24 and while I think I can dance (and love to) when I'm drunk, I'm not a big partier. I am always down for good food, drinks, and company but the company is typically lacking. :)
Anyways. Has anyone heard anything? Is there something planned? Let me know :)
