Deep breath.

It is not the end of the world if your invitations go out later than you planned.  Most of your friends already are making plans to attend and know the date.  Give yourself a couple of weeks to sort the ceremony venue out and order your invites. We mailed our invites just over 5 weeks before the wedding and we’ve had a faster and better response rate than bees I’ve seen who sent them much farther in advance because people got them and immediately replied instead of sticking them on the fridge and thinking they’d get to it later.

Panicking will just cloud your thinking. You need a clear head to find a solution.

Talk to the pastor candidly about the situation you would be in if you cannot have the ceremony in the hall. He may allow you to use the hall for the ceremony too if the Presbyterian pastor co-officiates it. That’s probably something you can work with; it surely beats paying $875 for a new venue or starting your venue search all over again at this point.

Deep breaths! It will all work out!

You are very much allowed to have a tantrum.  Let it out.  Let it out and let it out again.  Then, take a big deep breathe and think of your options.  If that does not work you can repeat the first step again.

Hugs!
